As a sleep over, very nice.

Pros:

The hotel is close to the sea, restaurants and bars

Cons:

The bathroom doesnot have the door water is slipping around while bathing and no one shows to moop the floor and there's no moop. The room service doesnt show up even if you ask for them. No telephones in the house to ask for service. We saw some cockroaches rooms need fumigation and the beds are not comfortable.

It was all in all ok, very affordable, great location
Pros:

I liked the location.
it was on the beach and that was a huge plus.
I liked that it was close to so many restaurants.

Cons:

The building is very old.
The units are small,
Would be nicer if it had a stove
Also the restaurant didnt have alot of stuff on the menu

On the beach...
Pros:

This is very very basic accomodation. Its right on the beach. We travelled in March, it was incredibly humid and the aircon / power kept tripping.

Muito bom para descansar e sair da rotina.
Cons:

O colchão de casal era muito desconfortável.
Ja fiquei mais vezes no Ponta Mar e nunca tive um colchão tão mau.
Quanto ao resto nada a dizer. Relação Qualidade/ Preço boa.

Pros:

Its a fantastic hotel for a family group, it has a family sized swimming pool in the courtyard, where you can also have drinks and a light meal. The location is central, not far from downtown, but the hourly shuttle bus to the Waterfront Mall and Shopping area makes everything verybsafe and easy.
At arrival we had a particularly good reception and despite arriving at 9.30 am we had a room with a good view by 10.15 and were helped throughout by Veronica who was professional, friendly and above all had our comfort foremost in her mind.
The little things like sweets in the lobby every afternoon at 4pm and a very decent and varied brunch at a reasonable price were another plus.

Cons:

If you want to to do training laps in the pool its not that big. Its got a deep end and a good shallow end though for smaller kids.
The gym is a bit limited in choice of equipment so at busy times can't do all that much.8

Pros:

nice refurbished room, functional and kept well clean. the resort is ideally located and the sea view is really worth. nice outdoor space, terraces, bar and restaurant. we enjoyed the stay.
