Nice location and ideal for using the Restaurant which was excellent in both ambience and the food it served. Friendly, helpful staff and very nice complimentary breakfast in the room…nice touch.
had a leak in the radiator which meant a wet patch on the carpet
Had a fuse or something similar blow which meant although we had the main bedroom light, we had no TV, no sidelights, no working sockets, no working fridge etc… We did report this prior to dinner but was not fixed during our stay which was a shame and inconvenient.
Woken up at 11pm by very loud ‘Rave’ type music blasting through the room from directly outside our window and was from the properties own garden area. After dressing and going down to the restaurant, I discovered it was the staff clearing the restaurant playing their music (loudly) and who had inadvertently switched the music on in the outside area. In fairness, they were very apologetic but of course by then, we’d been woken and had to get up dress etc. etc.

Good location as I was working in the area. The room was perhaps a little bit small but as it was just me was fine. Very clean and a nice selection of food from the hamper provided,

Convenient, quirky, nice touches with the breakfast hamper. Generally warm and comfortable.
Pillows were not the best. Window drafty. Room could have benefited from a chair ( although we recognise space is an issue). Perhaps make it clearer on description that there are various sets of stairs, some of which are uneven.

It was a lovely room, comfortable bed and great use of a small space. The breakfast hamper and coffee machine were fantastic.
Nothing we didn’t like at all but just a bit of feedback, an over bed table would be great and not impact on the space, as there wasn’t much space to put things down when eating breakfast etc.
We stayed the night before my wedding day. The staff were very helpful and helped me carry my things into the room. I had requested early check in which had been granted but the room was still been cleaned when I arrived but they were happy for me to drop my bags off and hang my wedding dress up.
We had Sunday dinner in the restaurant and that was absolutely delicious too.
The only negative I have is the lack of breakfast options, especially when we paid £110+ a room. The breakfast hampers were cute but it would of been nice to have a hot option too. Not only that upon checking a day before the rooms had significantly dropped in price by £50.
