Gemütliche Übernachtung in rustikalem Hotel
Pros:

Schön gelegenes altehrwürdiges Hotel. Wasserkocher und Zubehör steht bereit. Mit allem ausgestattet was ein Zimmer/Bad braucht. Highland Soap Co. Pflegeprodukte!

Cons:

Türe war schwerfällig zu öffnen/schliessen (klemmte auf dem Teppich).

Great highland stopover in an authentic place
Pros:

Great atmosphere in this awesome town. The personnel was great and the locals were great to hang out with. Big shout out to the bartendener (despite his liking for Celine Dion😜) The place is very authentic and the food is just awesome. Highly recommended for a nice stay on the highlands.

Pros:

Very quirky hotel, lots of nooks and crannies. Staff were excellent. The owners are overseeing everything that’s going on.
Very friendly.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn’t like. Lighting in our room would have benefited from a good light in bathroom for makeup.

A hidden gem that was way better than I expected.
Pros:

Everything exceeded expectations. I visit Inveraray often so knew the location was good, but the quality of the hotel was way beyond what I imagined. From the outside it's just a traditional historic hotel (one bit of it is actually the first house ever built in the town), and I've stayed at enough of these old places to know they're often comfortable but dated. This is the opposite - doesn't look anything special from the outside but once inside it's a different world. Historic features are preserved but the whole place is thoroughly updated and boutique-like. The bedroom was amazingly high end by any reckoning. The price didn't match my expectations - and that was a positive! I never imagined anything half as good for what I paid. I'll be back for sure.
