Had a wonderful stay at Pride Hotel Rishikesh. The staff was very polite and cooperative. Rooms were clean . The food was amazing with great taste. Overall ambience and service were excellent. Highly recommended for families. Will surely visit again! 👍

Entrance to the property either from car park or very steep slope. Coming down after the rain was very dangerous to walk down

3. However our overall experience at the hotel was disappointing.
3.1. the first room provided was in a poor state: i.e the bed sheets were stained, duvets were tattered, curtains in disrepair, damp on the walls, door fire seal was coming out of the door (not safe), and the bathroom had no accessories, and water spillage behind the basin.
we had had to call reception & housekeeping a number of times !!!!!
3.2. we were relocated to another room, which also was a poor state: i. flaking plaster on the walls, damp on walls, bathroom shower drainage did not work properly resulting in the shower water being stagnant, and water spillage behind the basin.
3.3. the spa was an outsourced third party business, which was not disclosed to us / in the booking system.
we requested a proper invoice from the spa, as there was gst taxes, etc paid, and this was not provided.
This is illegal business practice.
Eventually the hotel issued this as part of the hotel bill !!!!!
3.4. the costs of the hotel room does not justify the poor quality & lack of maintenance of the hotel room interiors.
3.5. we booked and paid for a taxi from the hotel. Mr Praveen agreed that the invoice will be issued ( & i requested hotel reception as well). But this was not provided by midday today !!!!!!!!.

Few things which were not working properly considering it was a suite. Like the bath tub water inlet was not working and there is TV but can't connect it to any wifi to watch something on it.
Property was clean. Well kept. The bed was comfortable, not too hard. Plenty of hot water for the shower.
The restaurant is convenient and the food is good.
The location is very close to the main road so there is lots of noise especially on the rooftop patio. My room faced the courtyard of the hotel next door. There was often loud music and parties going on in the late evening.
The location at Tapovan was ideal to walk to closeby restaurants and cafes.
The shower didn't work well. The water pressure was not consistent and also the hot water was not consistent.
This was a major let down as taking a shower meant going from being burnt by hot water and getting chilled water. This was not very comfortable.
Very bad service ever
