Lovely staff, food delicious, nice dog walks nearby.
Very bouncy single beds - rolled over and fell out!
Breakfast and dinner were good, choices were good. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Bar closed at 10pm sharp and they would never light the log fire, even although it was cold.

Nothing! Loved it! It’s a ways out from the town, so if it’s important to be near the action that’s something to consider, but the peaceful atmosphere was a plus for us.
Good enough given inclusive overall price but wierd that they charge an extra £1 for hash browns.
Nowhere to store or hang clothes. Weak to no wi-fi signal in main bedroom. Hopeless venetian blinds so rooms (especially kids room) were light at sunrise.
Good location good parking. Comfy bed. Plenty hot water. Nice bar. And good evening food.
Breakfast could be made a little more varied and interesting. Only tea and coffee provided in the rooms - how about sachets of chocolate?
Electric car charging points would be a bonus.

Beautiful building, exceptional staff, perfect location for overnight stay during long travel. Very friendly welcome and helpful team. Charming village and people.
The bathroom could benefit from extractor fan as it gets very steamy and smelly, and better lighting would improve the rooms a great deal as it felt quite gloomy. Not great problems, but if I were to consider what would have improved our stay, these improvements would make a significant difference.
It was very well presented and good location
Although it was June the weather was cold/wet and bedrooms were chilly. Also could have done with either a heated towel rail or hooks in the bathroom to hang towels up to dry

Lovely place to stay and the food was good and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. This was our second time to stay here. Ample parking at the back of the premises.
The included breakfast was very good and the service was excellent .
