They offered to upgrade room for free because we needed different beds setup. Breakfast was great. Location must great but we were there off season so the whole city was empty

The hotel is the one at the back beyond the ski rental. There was no dedicated parking except park where there's space in front of the hotel but that was not very far.
The front desk was very helpful.
The swimming pool is indoors but not as heated as I liked it to be. Took good 5 mins to adapt to it.
The buffet breakfast is decent.
The menu for other meals in accessible via QR code and that helped us take our time in choosing what we wanted.
room was smelling of unventilated toilet so we had to open the door to let it breathe. Always made sure to put the toilet cover down and close the toilet door.
We checked out at 12 noon so they had no bell boy at the time as check in begins at 2pm
the road access is crumbling and pothole ridden.
The pool was not as warm as I would've liked, but was usable and I swam for good 30 mins.

It is a very nice hotel with very kind staff. I liked that it’s next to the ski slope, has a grate lobby-lounge and free spa to relax.

I stayed at Carpe Diem Hotel in Gudauri at the beginning of March with my spouse, and it was a truly memorable experience. The location is perfect — right on the slopes — making it extremely convenient for skiing and enjoying the snow without needing to travel far.
The rooms were warm, cozy, and clean, with beautiful mountain views that made waking up every morning a treat. The staff was friendly, responsive, and made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay.
One of the highlights of our trip was the indoor pool and sauna — after a day out in the cold, relaxing there was absolutely amazing and added a touch of luxury to the experience.
The hotel also has a nice après-ski atmosphere in the evenings, with live music or DJs in the lounge area, which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was good, with a mix of local and international options.
Overall, Carpe Diem is a great choice if you're visiting Gudauri — whether it's for skiing or just a relaxing winter holiday. Great location, great vibes, and a great stay!
The location is very near to the Ski lift, so convenient.
The Breakfast menu should have been better. but still good
Horrible staff and smelly rooms, they should learn more on hospitality. We requested for cutlery and were refused. I tried to escalate to reception and hotel general manager and became a rascism victim. Looks like the hotel is run by a bunch of russian/georgian mafia group!!!
To my horror I had to escalate to Georgian authorities and waiting now for justice!

The hotel is tired & needs some refurbishment. Our room had numerous issues the main one being noisy heating that would keep you awake at night & even after maintenance tried to resolve the problem it was never fixed. The toilet had to be propped up on a number of tiles as it had not been fixed to the wall correctly. The walls were damaged in the bathroom & dirty in the lounge area.
The chef could only prepare one dish at a time during dinner service which meant that as a family most nights we had to eat our meals separately on a couple of occasions 5 of us had finished our meals before the 6th member of the group got their food. Waiting staff were friendly but could be seen vaping behind the bar when they had little to do.
The pool was cold & if you wanted to use the sauna you had to ask for it to be turned on.
Boot/ski room is insecure & not big enough.
Nice hotel, but nothing exceptional. The photos really make it seem better than it actually is, but the pool is useable. Paid for the nicer room with balcony, only to end up with a small room where we could barely open the balcony door to face the car park.
