Courteous bar made and friendly customers in the bar who offered advice.
Made the booking, received the confirmation, travelled to the hotel to find that they don't have rooms any more and that booking.com keeps on making bookings. I was the 3rd person that day to turn up and be disappointed leaving me to find another hotel at 6:30pm.

Booked for an overnight stay in April, easy to book on the website and soon sent a conformation email of my booking with a booking number and private pin. I had tried calling the hotel multiple times but unable to get through. However had received email confirmation of booking and kept receiving things to do while in the area.
When we arrived to check in, I was then informed the hotel had not existed for 3 months - yet booking.com had allowed me to book a room! I was unable to see anywhere on the website notification that the hotel was no longer in operation.
Very poor experience.
This place hasn't been a hotel for 2 years, since new ownership. I spoke to the owner and despite him requesting Booking.com to remove from their site, he's still getting people turning up for a room with a booking confirmation email. I wasted time and unnecessary money getting there only to be let down on arrival. Shocking service from yourselves.

The hotel is closed and was not honouring existing bookings. The new landlord said that he had removed the hotel from Booking.com. It would have been useful if Booking.com had got in touch with me to let me know. Thanks a lot guys!
Nothing arrived to be told there’s no rooms we told booking.com 2 weeks ago when we told him we were now stranded he said not my problem
This is a total farce have another booking with you in a weeks time after this debacle it will be me and all my friends last a total disgrace
Cancelled on arrival said the rooms were under renovation but yet they are still listed on the site. Multiple reviews stating the same! Do not book here
The hotel was not open
The hotel was not opened, so why is it on Booking.com?
I tried 3 times to phone the hotel prior to the visit but never got a reply. When we arrived for the visit the hotel was closed
When I arrived it was closed. Knocked on every door no answer.
Tried ringing left messages still no reply. The business looked like it had gone out of business

lots of things it was so bad I stayed with friends could not bring myself to sleep there
Would not recommend it at all! After booking weeks and weeks in advance and the hotel ringing the morning of our stay asking for my arrival time they then rang half hour later to cancel the booking saying it was an error on booking.com side, in fact he cancelled me as he had a better offer from someone wanting all 3 rooms for a block booking nothing to do with Booking. Com....this left me with no accommodation just as I was going to be setting off. The stay over was for a wedding!

The manager stated that he'd not received my booking and that he had only four rooms and they were all booked out. So at short notice I had to find another hotel, although they did recommend one but that was fully booked!
