Pros:

The room is spacious and clean. Good location, in Luohu district, next to a big mall for shopping and dining, and near Dong Hu Park if you want to take a walk or hike. Enjoyed my stay here!

Clean, spacious but weird!
Pros:

We booked the 65m2 room and it was so spacious! All the amenities and facilities look brand new and everything high tech. Comfortable bed and room. Great location overlooking East Lake Park. Mall down the street

Cons:

It was just…weird. Dim Nightclub lighting throughout the place, especially the lobby but so quiet. And empty. Nobody around, not even staff. The few that are around looked confused why we were there. Fitness center is a whole floor on the top, all new equipment and things staged as if they expect lots of people. But no sign anyone has been up there in awhile. No aircon or towels in the fitness center. Breakfast was mediocre. We found another 5-star the next night that was cheaper and so much more welcoming!

Modern but very plain hotel
Pros:

The hotel is modern, with fairly new furniture and furnishings. Very spacious and it was quiet.
Next to a mall which was convenient and it had a nice view on the Shenzhen reservoir area and the mountains.

Cons:

The hotel was very dark, it could do with some more light. It felt like being in a bar the whole time.
The breakfast was poor as it was made upon ordering and limited to one breakfast per room (whereas we were staying with two guests in a room as per room description). All the essentials were available in the room, but it was very simple, not that extra touch which I would expect from a 5-star hotel.
