The guidance over the noise was not stressed enough!
Cons:

The music from the DJ was sooooo loud and went on until late. No possibility of sleeping.

Could be lovely if organised!

Lovely decor

Cons:

Air con didn’t work. Fridge didn’t work.
No towels were replaced after the first night, and no bath mat so floor was soaking. 3x ends of toilet roll, were all that we were left with, so had to go and buy some. No tea coffee etc replaced even though we confirmed there would be. Delux room states bottle of wine room, apparently they don’t do that anymore!

Worst booking experience
Pros:

The worst booking experience of our lives. It was impossible to contact the hotel via Booking.com, and online check-in didn't work. Calling was impossible, and emails and inquiries—every single one—went unanswered.
We needed to book an pay for another hotel same night,

Cons:

It’s outrageous—simply not answering, not picking up the phone, and not even hanging up. We booked and paid, but couldn't get in.

Room was cold
Road noise from 4am
Shower was not very clean and shower head had limescale in so water sprayed in different directions
Kettle was not near a socket so had to plug in on bed

A lovely quirky hotel.
Pros:

This hotel is in the heart of Epping. It is really nicely decorated.

Cons:

There was live music in the restaurant downstairs the night we were there so it was quite noisy. That said my friends who were staying in another room went down and joined the party and said it was great so it’s not really a criticism. Just something to be aware of.

Would stay again but avoid weekend if sleeping there .

Friendly staff and convienient location

Cons:

Advertises breakfast but it’s not available , noisy Friday and Saturday until 1am in the morning . Food ok but over priced . Friendly hard working staff .
