Really good - I would use this place again.
Pros:

Breakfast cooked to order - excellent quality. Evening meal good, choice perhaps a little limited, but well prepared. the staff were all polite, friendly and very helpful. They arranged a taxi for us and even walked up the road to check its arrival.

Cons:

The only possible fault I found was that the floor of the shower cubicle was a bit slippery, but I am elderly, so perhaps a little more sensitive than most. otherwise everything was really good.

Nicely furnished and updated rooms above a bar/restaurant perfectly located for exploring Bristol.
Pros:

Location was great and the staff were all delightful - friendly and very helpful

Cons:

I was very disappointed that my room did not have a window and only an opaque skylight. It would have been ok if I had been notified that it was a windowless room when I was making the online booking as I could have selected a different room. When I returned to reception after realizing the room was windowless, the receptionist was very apologetic and did her best to see if she could find me another room but unfortunately it was not possible as they were fully booked.

A tertific value gem of a find in old town Bristol. Stay here!
Pros:

Beautifully clean, smartly decorated, comfortable and aesthetically delightful with a terrific en suite including a useful nightlight. Wonderful little touches in the room like the complementary tipple of port and chocolate with a handwritten note, fresh milk for (good) coffee and a whole range of tea. Even decent sized coffee mugs! Breakfast was lovely and well catered.

A magnificent place to stay ! We will be back ….
Pros:

What a Pub / Hotel - unbelievably happy with our stay. Modern, well decorated and mega comfortable. Stayed on business in Bristol for many years. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in for sometime. I travel all over the world and this was literally a 10/10 - thanks everyone, great effort all round.

Cons:

That I was not staying for longer.

Friendly- superb location- good value - da bedrooms

Cons:

One chef on breakfast - took 50 mins - cold but staff were superb- did not pay- very apologetic.

Pros:

Beautiful clean room with exceptional little touches. Loved the honesty bar and the toiletries. It was evident that everything had been carefully thought about and catered for. The bed was uber comfy, as advertised. Our welcome to the hotel by Ed was superb. All staff were super friendly and approachable. Breakfast was delicious, with everything you could possibly need. The location for us us was ideal, so central and so quiet. We'll be back! Worth every penny.

Great place to stay in the city center. Easy to get everywhere and a beautiful and comfortable stay!
Pros:

Well designed, thoughtful touches everywhere. The bathroom was especially nice, great shower pressure and great towels!

Cons:

We had some trouble with the thermostat but it wasn’t a big deal.

This is now our go to place to stay when we're in Bristol.
Pros:

Everything - from the welcome when we checked in to finding ourselves in a great bedroom with an amazing bathroom. Loved the little touches of a delicious chocolate upon arrival accompanied by some Port.

Cons:

We were a little disappointed about how long it took for breakfast to arrive but when it did, it was very tasty. Such a small point that didn't affect our stay at all and we'd love to come back when next in Bristol.
