Friendly staff, centrally located, loved the coffee/tea bar
Pros:

Loved the free coffee & tea every morning! Nice hotel, good, clean rooms. My mom and I enjoyed our stay and found it centrally located for all we did over a long weekend. Friendly staff, always helpful! They gave us a room near the door since my Mom has some mobility issues. Highly recommend!

Nice enough
Pros:

Nice location. Large, clean room. Well equipped kitchenette.

Cons:

Don’t get too excited about the “gym.” It is two treadmills, an exercise ball, and an all-in-one machine that looks like it has been out of service for a long time. The gym TV is set to one channel, no volume and they wouldn’t give me the remote which just seems silly to me.

No heat poor customer service and no care
Pros:

Well at first the price and location.

Cons:

There was no heat all night. No maintenance or housekeeping or management or any type of staffing after 11. The security guard said he couldn’t do anything to help he couldn’t even access the room or call management. We called and no answer repeatedly and in the morning the staff couldn’t even fix or compensate for the no heat in the room.

The Aspen Suites Hotel in Kenai was a great stay. The property was very clean, and the suites were huge with plenty of space to spread out comfortably. You can tell the furniture is newer—everything felt fresh and well-maintained, especially the drawers, which even had protective liners in them. It’s clear the hotel pays attention to cleanliness and details, which made the stay feel comfortable and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

My room was on the third floor at the very end of the building, closest to the McDonald’s drive-through. Unfortunately, the drive-through speaker could be heard clearly from inside the room and was loud throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep.
