It is very near to Tomei Gotemba interchange which made transfers very easy

Overall, a disappointing stay considering the price and reputation.
Cons:

We stayed at Mars Garden Wood Gotemba and unfortunately left feeling disappointed.

The hotel, including the building and the rooms, felt quite dated and in need of renovation.

We paid extra for a room with a view of Mount Fuji, but the view was only visible from a small corner of the room rather than directly from the main window, which was not what we had expected.

Communication with the staff was also quite difficult due to limited English, which led to several misunderstandings during our stay. Unfortunately, this made the service feel less attentive than we had expected.

There also seemed to be a misunderstanding regarding breakfast, and in the end we did not receive breakfast. Despite this, we were still charged for coffee, which felt disappointing. We had expected a more accommodating approach from a hotel of this standard.

Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price and reputation of the hotel.

Amazing place at a high cost but necessary if your objective is to enjoy views of Mt. Fuji while being inside your room
Pros:

Luxury hotel with excellent service, kaiseki style breakfast, and you can get a room with onsen and Mt. Fuji views!

Cons:

Location is far from main sights, but staff can arrange transportation or you can take a local bus about a 5 minute walk. On site restaurants close early.

Pros:

quiet and clean property with nice public bath/onsen.
superb well equipped with all the little details.
