The staff except a few were upto the mark.
The room details despite being told in advance were not met. About the pool usage there was no discipline and people were inside will full cloths and smoking alongside the pool which shouldn't be allowed. Some staff at the restaurant was rude which was updated to the restaurant manager.

The Fairfield by marriott anjuna is clean , and very good and food is also good..Overall had good experience..😊😊
The location where is situated is bit narrow roads.
Hotel upkeep was poor. Not value for money. Not expected from Marriott.
So the location of the property was well put in place because from the property the Anjuna beach and the Baga beach were the too extremes and they were within the range of 1-2 km, max 3 km. That was one good thing.
All the shops, if you need to buy liquor or if you eat, there were a lot of good cafes around. One of the best cafes that we visited was Diavola cafe, where we had a pizza made from scratch and it tasted amazing.
The property itself also was very pretty, given that you get the rooms facing the pool and where there is a lot of greenery. For certain rooms in the property which were given to us initially, we got the room changed. It feels very shady because you need to get too much into the extent that you do not actually have any view. That room is just quite small for the price that you are paying.
We got it changed to a room that was pool facing and had a lot of greenery and it was quite open, with a balcony that you will be getting. That was the good thing about it.
So to begin with the major setback for us was the food. We had gone to Goa and selected this property specifically because we thought that we'll be having a leisure time and we'll be just lying and resting. It was basically our rest kind of a vacation, a staycation. We wanted to have good food in the property itself so that in case we do not want to go out we can have food there itself.
The very first time we ordered Maggi somewhere in the night it tasted pathetic because it literally tasted as if the noodles are boiled in haldi water. That was disgusting. We gave them the feedback. They took it but then there was nothing done specifically, like we were refunded or we were given another set of Maggi bowl or something. Nothing of that sort happened so that was one major setback. I mean who can fuck a Maggi?
The other thing was that the next day we had a buffet, a morning buffet system, wherein there was not a good spread of variety of food and also whatever was available did not make much sense. Again with the amount of money that we had paid, it was very okay. You would not really be looking forward to have breakfast or dinner or any of that sort and it was that low of a bar that the next day we actually skipped the breakfast because it just gave us that kind of a trauma. Oh my god, what are we going to eat? We just slept through the morning and then we had to order from outside, although that breakfast was included within the amount that we had paid.
There was one more instance wherein we went into the dining to check how the food might be. That was after we ordered Maggi. We were tired and we did not want to go out. We checked out how much time it would take for them to prepare one meal and they literally gave us a time of 30 to 40 minutes or an hour. That was again very stupid for me to be waiting for that much time because we were pretty hungry.
On the food part I cannot say anything was good. Everything was bad.
