Everything was so clean. The decor was beautiful. The location was perfect, right on Tissa Lake. The staff were so tentative and always wanted to help us. I loved my stay!

This accommodation meets all of your expectations.
This is a small nice place. Very near to the lake. Lovely room, cool enough.And very prepared breakfast.
However as hotel owner is not stay at the hotel. Staff should talk with owner everything, so we have to wait wait and wait to get the reply. It takes time. And also there are many many flies outside. You may see many geckos out side also.

One of the best places, if not the best, in our travel to Sri Lanka. It is really a boutique hotel. Very unique in its marvelous decoration. We took the room in the second floor. A very spacious room with an extraordinary wide balcony. The service is excellent. Breakfast was good.

The room was very spacious and clean. You can tell a lot of love has gone into making it look good. If you are making an overnight stop for a safari it can do just that but there is nothing within walking distance and is very isolated. The staff member spoke very little English and we asked for coffee before our safari at 5 am and he did not wake until 4.55 so no time.

Lovely B&B style accommodation. We booked a deluxe family suite which was extremely spacious and had two separate bedrooms and a large bathroom. The rooms were also very clean. The water temperature was a bit of a let down but given the heat it was bearable. The service was impeccable. There are only two guys on staff, Ashan and Ajith, who went out of their way to meet your every need. Ashan is an excellent chef and cooked us a delicious Sri Lankan dinner and breakfast. Some of the best meals we’ve had on our 2 week long trip in Sri Lanka. I mentioned I liked Tiger beer and Ajith went on his bike to get me one from a local store. The location is about a 45 min drive from Yala National Park, which can be a bit inconvenient but given that you are likely to spend a whole or half day on safari, it’s not a big issue. The scenery from the hotel is very picturesque and there are some lovely local neighbours. Overall, this was a unique experience and deserving of 5 stars!
Fabulous place to relax before and after Yala Safari tour. Rooms are spacious, clean and relaxing. Property assisted with booking an excellent safari and providing packed picnic breakfast for the trek. Sunset view from the upper balcony across the lake is beautiful & property provided binoculars to fully appreciate wildlife. Staff prepared us a fabulous meal for dinner. Very attentive to every need, thank you.
