Friendly staff who went above and beyond to make us welcome. The warmth of the different room., the beautiful Christmas trees in every room. It was an exceptional place to stay and I'm only sorry we only stayed the one night.

Just excellent from start to finish, being met at door on arrival and being shown to room was a lovely touch, the decor and artwork, the open fire and the fantastic staff and the food.

The room and bathroom were cold
And remained cold overnight. The staff did nothing to remedy the situation. It was the worse place I have ever stayed at in Ireland. Very disappointing. The staff did nothing to listen and pass information between them about the sub standard room.
I was surprised by this property. The impressions from the photographs were very different to the reality.
The room was cold the bedroom was cold the bathroom was freezing. Reception did not seem to care. There inaction led us to leave as soon as we were able. How can they let out a stone cold room even trying to turning the radiators up one was cold the other tepid. I asked for two single duvets but they couldn’t accommodate my request until the following day. This was the worse place I have stayed in Ireland. It was very disappointing. It makes a mockery of Ireland’s Blue Book. The quality was shocking.

Charming manor house from the 1600’s restored and managed by a family- ask them about the history- it’s fascinating. Elegant dining service and menu.
The girl we met at the door and Karoline were lovely from the second we came in contact with them. Everyone we came in contact with during our stay was lovely. The food was 10/10, the room was fantastic, clean, big and very comfortable bed.
The only thing I didn't like was leaving 🤣
