Work in progress
Pros:

Location is good, in a smart area of Burnham, walking distance to centre. Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

More a surprise really - the house is being refurbished - even my room and the bathroom were not finished, being bare plaster. The front drive was muddy and no proper flooring in the hallway or landing.

I arrived when I said I would but there was no answer at the front door despite lights being on. I had to call the owner twice to be allowed in - not the greatest of welcomes.

No breakfast - but the promenade cafe 25 minutes walk away is excellent and open when you need it

Pros:

Room very clean as was bathroom

Cons:

The dog was loose when I got back in the evening , even though I had been assured it would not be. Had to ring door bell to get in as dog was barking at the main door. No key to the room only bolt on inside which made me feel unsafe.

Pros:

Julian was a great host who let me stay for carnival night on Monday the carnival itself had ended at 23. 17 for me so very late so glad I booked this place and he was so helpful with getting me up and down the stairs with my crutch thank u for that I hope I can stay again for next year's carnival :)

An unfortunate mistake
Pros:

Its location close to Burnham and Berrow.

Cons:

A mess of unfinished decorations; diy in the middle of the night. Everything was just tatty.

A peaceful, relaxing and reflective break near the seaside.
Pros:

The room is ideal for solo travellers and has the benefit of a good location in Burnham-on-Sea. It is approximately 10 minutes to walk to the local beach and cafes. It was peaceful. It is unique as the room is part of a family home. A bath towel was provided on arrival. The adjacent combined bath and shower room was very spacious.

Cons:

One minor note was that I should have asked for a replacement cup for tea each day.

Peaceful
Pros:

Julian the owner was very friendly. Great room with balcony, and the bathroom was really modern with a jacuzzi bath.

Cons:

Got a bit chilly at night as i did not have the control for the ac/heating. other than that great.

Location was fine only 10 minute walk to lakeside holiday park was were I had to walk from

A cooked breakfast would have been nice but as he has only been doing it for a year still early

Fantastic stay
Pros:

With a friendly welcome, I was greeted and shown my room.
It was spotless and roomy. The bed was very comfortable, and the shared bathroom was modern and clean.
It was so quiet I easily fell asleep and didn't want to wake up in the morning. The modern air conditioner chucked out lovely warm air making the room warm and a dream to move around in. I will definitely be booking again

Good, but wouldn’t go back to this property!!!
Pros:

Very good location, and the bathroom was really nice with a spa bath

Cons:

Not having a proper lock on the bedroom door!!
Being told we wasn’t aloud outside at night after 12 o clock, they also lock the front door…..!! Very cold at night in the room…
