Disappointing
Cons:

Unfortunately, I had cockroaches scurry through my room when I arrived. I suppose that, for the price of the hotel, the state of the hotel's cleanliness was somewhat to be expected.

Close to train station. They agreed to late check out 5pm for a small fee. Nice staff.
Pros:

Close to the train station and one good cafe. Also there was a Winmart close by. Air conditioner was just ok. Shower was good. Room clean.

Cons:

Every time a toilet was flushed in another room my toilet would belch and a foul smell would fill my room.
The wiring and electrics are dodgy!

Ideal base if arriving by train.
Pros:

I was able to check-in very early in the morning which was ideal because I’d arrived on the overnight train from Hanoi, and the hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the station.

Cons:

My room needed a lot of TLC and the bathroom mirror fell off the wall when I rotated it!

For 1 or 2 day stays.
Pros:

Really close to the train station, staff were very nice and welcoming. They let us check in early in the morning. I would recommend for short stays or to be close to the train station. Bear in mind it’s only cash payment.

Cons:

While we stayed there there was like a football summer camp or something and it was full with kids and teenagers, unfortunately they were all very loud, running down and up stairs, shouting like crazy, even knocking on our door and tried to open it. Parents non existent. Not hotels fault but sad that they didn’t impose any rules to them. I found the bed very hard and sadly the shower and the toilet have no separation so while you shower you wet everything. A/C was not working that well but you have a fan. It was a rainy day so it was fresh and we really didn’t need the A/C much.

Near the train station

Cons:

We stayed for about 10 minutes before deciding to change our accomodation and book another hotel. Unfortunately I was in a rush and did not read the comments before booking this hotel. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. It's old and shaby and not clean at all. There were bugs in the room and a tuft of hair on the sink. The bed was really hard and no matress sheets. Urgh! No one speaks English so we did not even bother with trying to complain. Just left the key on the counter and left for good.

Awful, but good location for the train station
Pros:

You would only stay here if you have an early morning train.

Cons:

The bed is like a concrete slab, and we’re weren’t given any linen. Rooms are dirty and the owners do not care.
