Excellent location and its close to everything on the Strip. The rooms are new and very clean, with everything as far as appliances for a "stay in the room" drinks and food, the two swimming pools are family friendly and the bars have everything you need in case you don't feel like going out. The Diva restaurant has everything you can ask for a Sports Bar and their staff is very attentive and friendly. Definitely my Home away from home in the Sin City.
What a horrible experience! I booked a deal that included a presentation but I was all hung over the time our presetation was scheduled and no one called or reminded me it was that day and interesting my state I thought it was scheduled for the next morning. When we arrived, they refused to give the presentation because we were leaving that day - not until the evening so had lots of time but it became quite clear that they do not actually honour the 90 minute presentation they promise but rather plan to trap you there until they make a sale. Never gonna fall for this presentation scam again. Learned my lesson the hard way! Ended up getting charged just under a thousand US on top of what I had pre-paid for my 3 night stay. No compromises or anything done to try and accommodate my very costly mistake. Do not trust this company because they refused to offer any alternative options for our situation. Don't fall for their high pressure sales pitch if ever offered this deal! Boo Marriot hotel group for the big surprise bill.
Following the over-the-top luxury of The Venetian and the rustic accommodations at The Ranch at Death Valley, Marriott’s Grand Chateau provided a much needed night of “normal hotel” before we flew out of Las Vegas the next morning. The room was large and immaculate with a particularly comfortable bed and sofabed. Marriott’s Grand Chateau gives walkable access to The Strip without having to stay in a massive, smoky casino. Be aware that parking is valet-only.
Highly highly highly recommend the Grand Chateau Marriott. It is a 5 minute walk to the strip but also a 5 minute walk to Target so you can easily get groceries. It was really a perfect location. We were in a one bedroom villa that was spotless, had a very comfortable living room, comfortable dining area , and large bedroom with a tub and sink area in addition to a full bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and all appliances worked perfectly. The washer and dryer was a great addition.
The pool and pool area was clean, well stocked with unlimited towels and lots of seating, and pleasant staff.
The staff at this hotel are an example of what every hotel would hope their own staff would be like. Everyone was pleasant, gave a friendly greeting, and were willing to answer any questions politely and willingly even though they were busy and probably answered the same questions a hundred times.
I could go on and on but the bottom line is we would go to this hotel whenever we went to Vegas and would highly encourage others to stay here too.
Nice hotel which is very central to the Main Street - a minute’s walk. Outstanding views day and night! The facilities in the hotel were very good. We had two bedrooms with a lounge and kitchen - the kitchen was well equipped :)
1 Bedroom Apartment
We have stayed 7 nights in March 2025, using some Marriott Vacation Club Points. The building is 1 block back from the strip but is extremely close to everything. The room has a fully equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer, which was great for us on a long trip from Australia. The room size is decent and it was great to have this room of this size when in Vegas for this period. We stocked up at Costco before check-in, so we had plenty sodas, snacks in the room so we didn’t have to pay Las Vegas strip prices and having the fridge, we could store our left overs if we brought any home after dinner somewhere.. There is an on-site Starbucks, but you will be paying Las Vegas Hotel Starbuck prices. Room was clean upon check-in, the bed was comfortable. The hotel has valet parking only, for us at least it was free except for tipping.
Yes, it is a Marriott Vacation Club location, so they will approach you to attend a sales prestation, but it’s totally up to you if you want to attend or not and they will give you a pre-paid visa as an incentive to attend.
We have stayed at the Grand Chateau several times over the years and have consistently enjoyed the lodgings. The location is great -- central part of the strip and one block off Las Vegas Blvd. The rooms are modern and well kept. We've had different ones over the years (the ones at the ends of the halls have been the best in my experience); on this trip we had a standard one bedroom which was plenty spacious for two people. We didn't use too much of the kitchen, but we could have cooked a meal of we had wanted to. We did use the hot tub on the roof (38th floor) on this trip and enjoyed the experience and the view.
The hotel offers several activities each day that vary by day. Considering the location and all the activities outside the hotel, this is a nice plus to the experience.
With all the hustle bustle of the casino hotels, the Grand Chateau offers a nice respite and comfortable rooms.
DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to spend a lot of money for a subpar experience.
THE HOTEL IS RUN DOWN.
We got stuck in the elevator on Christmas Eve and rung in Christmas in a stuck elevator. After ringing the alarm, and calling the elevator call button, the hotel didn't know that we got stuck. We managed to get a one-bar reception on my phone and call family for help. That's when the hotel came to help. We got rescued by the Fire Department. After getting into my hotel room, the hot shower didn't work. We paid $591 for the 2-bedroom villa for a hotel that was run down. Friends say Hilton Vacation Club across the street is better. I will stay there next time.
When we drove out of the hotel, we realized that half the lights on the sign greeting you in was out. It's representative of the hotel - things are half operating.
Great hotel in a very convenient location that allows you to walk to everything. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient.
This was a wonderful stay in Las Vegas. No slot machines. Rooms have full well stocked kitchens with comfortable living room and eating area. Resort has many activities with variety. Swimming pools and workout rooms excellent. Generally very clean. TV good with many stations. Store expensive but ok for a few quick things if you don’t want to walk. Restaurant most disappointing. No breakfast. Food quality not great, although daily soups appreciated. Discount card deceptive because you think it applies to this restaurant but only if you own there. Ubers easy access in front. We usually don’t stay in Vegas this long, but this place made our week very enjoyable.
I booked a 3 bedroom & 3 bath. One block off the strip, across street is entrance of Miracle Miles; many eateries. Got one of the newer suites on a high floor. Picturesque views of the hotels on the strip. Staff is outstanding. My friends loved the 2 bedrooms & so was the 1 bedroom. One of the nicer Marriotts.
The staff was so accommodating. The villa had everything thing we needed and more. I will definitely choose them again!
Everything was great!
Location, rooms, pool, staff at front desk and door people!
Everyone was friendly and accommodating
Affordable good unts
I loved it
Good hotel very close to the Strip. Large rooms, good fitness room, acceptable bar and restaurant. Very friendly staff. Good price for the quality. Facilities a bit old.
They have nice amenities and the staff is so sweet and helpful. I honestly love the hotel just for the staff
pool was good. room could of been cleaner. gum on bed light. hair in bathtub
No big retail at hotel and not much dining options in hotel. But that is ok since the property is close to strip.
Excellent location among many of the most popular casinos and restaurants.
Their service was terrific. Had lunch on the 5th Fl. pool area, an after dinner drink up on the 38th Fl. roof bar and dinner in their main floor restaurant which was actually pretty good. Nice bar. Will stay here again.
