Palette Heritage Scindia Ghat formerly East View

The location was very central to all activities in Varanasi and 4 minutes to the ghats. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Even before I arrived, I was receiving WhatApps messages from satff with updates on Varanasi and places to see. Also, information on getting to them. On arrival in Varanasi, all I did was call the hotel ( Ajay). Due to the many thousands of visitors ( afternoon check-in ), the streets in the immediate are closed to taxis and cars. I was dropped about 1 kilometre away from the hotel. With the help of staff on the phone ( language barrier ), I was on a rickshaw within 3 minutes. A WhatsApp I received from Marhadev earlier advising me you need to carry small change when using a rickshaw. If you give a large note, eg, 500 rupees, you will not get change. I was quoted 100 rupees. In the meantime, satff sent me a WhatsApp with a photograph of the young lad that would meet at St George's Church who helped me with the luggage. Got to the hotel booked in. Refreshed. Meet up with satff again. Anything you want to know, both staff had d Marhadev have their fingertips. Also, I received continuous Whatspps from with info of things to do and see. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. My room was lovely. Clean and fresh. Getting around, Google maps work well, even in the narrow walkways around Varanasi. On the day I left ( 07h00), Ajay arranged for 1 of the young lads to assist me with my luggage. This time, only the short walk to St George's Church. I was in a taxi within 2 minutes and at the airport by 08h00. I highly recommend palette It's all the contious support and friendlyness of all the staff that makes the stay very special. I will return.

Nothing horrible experience

The hospitality was excellent, the aesthetics unique and I would highly recommend it to traveI had very positive experience. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. And I will definitely stay there again. everyone. it's an amazing environment with great hospitality. I also prefer this. The staff are so cooperative with the best gesture.

I recently stay in EAST VIEW H HOTEL . My room was spacious, Clean and well decorated. staff was very friendly attentive and went above to ensure my stay was comfortable.Place was very good near to GHATS, manikarnika ghat & there are many good place to eat and also property provide best local food.

Nice budget stay with good location near ghat

This is a budget hotel.quite decent with amenities such as kettle if you ask them. Breakfast options although not many was tasty. Dinner was also very good. The location was very good. Just in 10 minutes walking distance is kashi vishwanath temple.
There is a narrow lane for the hotel, loading and unloading the luggage can be a hassle if there are many bags. The hotel and the rooms does look excellent .

staff were exceptional , ghat area had a calm atmosphere and was not overcrowded, restaurants served varied cuisines: Indian and other restaurants a variety of and oriental well cooked food . The rooms were furnished in a thoughtful and elegant manner, and were scrupulously cleaned by the room attendants who did a first-class job, The private lounge staff were exceedingly helpful as was the concierge. Oh and the two pieces of free laundry per day was a very nice touch. A wonderful experience.

What truly set this experience apart was the sense of history that envelops the hotel. A special thank you to all the in-house historian, who spent two hours personally walking me through the rich legacy of the hotel. Having worked there for over years his stories, insights, and passion brought the walls of the hotel to life. It was like walking through time, guided by someone who had lived it.

I only stayed couple of days, and it wasn’t nearly enough. I didn’t want to leave. Next time, I’ll be staying longer—because thehotel isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s a destination in itself.

Exceptional hospitality and welcoming staff. The hotel is in an amazing historic building. Great location. Location of breakfast and some of the choices. Nice Indian selection and food. Proximity of scenic places and all the staffs are so welcoming, helpful, kindhearted and always smiling. They always give good advice. I am really impressed by all the people working in this Hotel. Wonderful and tasty food. Even those working in the restaurant are too good. The atmosphere is clean, pure and soothing to the body, mind and soul. It has been a marvellous experience in staying in that 5 stars hotel and gives us the taste of palatial feelings. The sitarist and the guy playing the flute are so enchanting and enhance positiveness in the atmosphere. I am really amazed by the grandeur and beauty of the artistic decor of the hotel. The hotel is suitable for all kinds of travelers. Quiet, well-maintained, and with good facilities. A great choice! The comfort and service provided at this price are excellent. Would definitely recommend for budget travelers!

Property did not let me stay

I loved the location. Set at the banks of Maa Ganga ..all temples closeby, including Kalbhairav mandir and Kashi Vishwanath. The rooms were very comfortable. And absolutely well kept and clean. We specially loved the food. The cook was amazing. Pandeyji, he would cook fresh order so he took a little time but everytime the food was sumptuous and delicious, just the right amount of everything. Including spices/ oil and varied cuisines all alike were great!

Everything. Warm welcome, speedy check in. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was clean with amenities provided.

It was such an amazing hostel! The staff was so welcoming and the room had a beautiful view of the city. It is a hostel that I will choose also in my future trips to Varanasi.
