An Excellent Stay at Hotel Maputo – Truly Memorable

I recently stayed at Hotel Maputo and was thoroughly impressed by the service, comfort, and professionalism displayed throughout my visit. The hotel is well-maintained, ideally located, and offers a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere for both business and leisure travelers.

What truly made my stay exceptional was the efficiency and kindness of the hotel manager. He is very professional and quick to act on any issues or requests. Whether it was a room preference, a question about the area, or a small concern, he addressed everything immediately and ensured that my experience remained smooth and stress-free.

A special mention must be made of the fact that the manager speaks fluent English and also indian languages, which was a huge help for international guests like me. It made communication effortless and made me feel truly welcomed and understood. His friendly nature and dedication to guest satisfaction turned a good stay into a great one.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and offered a good variety. The location of the hotel is also excellent—close to important landmarks and restaurants, yet peaceful enough to rest well at night.

I highly recommend Hotel Maputo to anyone visiting the city. I will certainly return on my next trip. The manager and his team truly care about their guests, and it shows.

The stay was okay especially for the amount we paid, but the hotel must invest in better breakfast.
Pros:

The hotel rooms were clean, they also came to clean the room on a daily basis. The staff was helpful when you needed help most of the times, it was only when they couldn't help where they didn't assist.

Cons:

The breakfast was very bad, on our first day when we went down there food was almost done and there was no butter, we were told it was finished. We ended up having breakfast outside for the remainder of the days we were there.
When we needed the iron, we had to wait for it and reception kept telling us it was being used by the other guests and we were not the only ones complaining about that situation. The phone in the room was not working so we needed to keep going down if we needed something from the reception i.e. to look if the iron was available. The hotel data was not available most of the time we were there and not being from the area meant we needed to ask friends to get us the data to be able to stay connected. The couch in the room had a broken leg, we reported it and nothing was done about it.

Não sei se foi só comigo, mas houve uma falta de explicação e enquadramento das boas-vindas por parte da recepção somente entregaram-me o cartão e me informaram o quarto como se eu já fosse cliente habitual, e ouve um problema no meu quarto e não houve disponibilidade imediata em resolver o problema por parte do hotel que era com a refrigeração das bebidas. Tivemos que trocar algumas reclamações e insatisfações de forma intensiva para ver o problema resolvido.

Good but there’s room for improvement.
Pros:

I liked room service, the room was always cleaned to the tea and our belongings were respected in the process.

Cons:

The food was bad at the restaurant. I remember we ordered burgers and we were told you don’t have fries, we ate those burgers without fries but still billed the same amount although there was no substitute. Even the burgers were bad. The app says there is a swimming pool, unfortunately the hotel doesn’t have a swimming pool. Huge disappointment as one of the reasons we booked was because of the swimming pool.
