Hotel el viajero

J’ai tout aimé de cette établissement. Le personnel advenant et tellement gentil, la nourriture, les glissades, la possibilité de prendre les kayak pour aller explorer. La piscine, le spa tout était parfait. Les petites villa flottante avec le balcon c’était vraiment bien.

Un lugar fuera de lo común. Excelentes comida!!

De huisjes aan t water. Mooi uitzicht over de Rio Dulce

Super accommodatie! Heel vriendelijk personeel, mooie kamers, en een prachtig uitzicht. Het was een topverblijf!!

Très grande chambre et lit dans un bel établissement. Nous n’avons pas profité de la piscine mais fait un tour dans le bain à jet légèrement chauffé, l’espace piscine est incroyable. Le personnel est au petit soin (presque trop)

Erg mooi op de rivier.

We hebben volop genoten van ons verblijf! Super aardig en behulpzaam personeel, heerlijk eten (en lekkere koffie!), luxe huisjes en een fijn zwembad. We voelden ons heel erg welkom en dat kwam vooral door de leuke mensen die hier werken. Perfecte optie als je een paar dagen wat luxer aan de Rio wil verblijven.

Appena arrivati si capisce subito che la scelta di questo albergo è stata la migliore! Meraviglioso in tutto, camere, ristorante, piscina e personale (e non parliamo dei tuffi nel fiume!).
Fuori dal caos quotidiano, ci siamo immersi nella bellezza! Peccato solo il soggiorno sia stato breve!

El hotel esta a 40 min en lancha desde rio dulce. Se nos hizo tarde y el hotel arreglo una lancha que nos recogiera y nos llevara . Era de noche y llovia muy fuerte . No fue una experiencia muy agradable hasta que llegamos al hotel . Increible lugar ! compensó el susto del viaje en lancha . La habitacion situada encima del rio , todo de madera con un fantastico comedor , los toboganes al agua , la piscina increible . Todo en este hotel es fantastico para visitar durante unos dias rio dulce y el caribe guatemalteco .

Me encantó la ubicación, en un manglar en el lago, a medio camino de Río Dulce y Livingston.
La piscina es fantástica, grande y con un mobiliario super cómodo.
Ver atardecer desde el porche, tumbada en la hamaca, es un momento que recordaré.

Me gustó todo. La ubicación en el rio sobre tarimas de madera con unas vistas espectaculares. Todo estaba muy limpio y cuidado. La piscina con mobiliario de calidad y muy bien cuidada. Todo el personal es muy eficiente y pendientes de satisfacer tus necesidades. Esta en la parte mas bonita de Rio Dulce y cerca de Livingston, lo que facilita el traslado a Playa Blanca y los 7 Altares. El restaurante tiene muy buena comida y magnifica atención

De accommodatie ligt op een mooie locatie aan het water. Huisjes zijn ruim, schoon en voorzien van airco. Iets dat daar ook erg lekker is. Zwembad is groot en netjes. Personeel is heel vriendelijk. Spreken nauwelijks Engels, maar willen met alles helpen. Restaurant is goed.

When we arrived we felt like at home. All of their workers there are super nice, have a nice smile and they make everything happen that you feel super nice there. The standard of everything there is just higher than in any other hotel we have been so far in Guatemala. If it comes to the shower, bathroom, bed or any other facilities, it’s just great! Also the small details! And the best thing is really as already mentioned the staff there. This is one of the hotels where you will say in a few years, remember the „El Viajero“ in rio dulce, and you‘ll immediately remember which one it was.

The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, very peaceful and comfortable accommodation on the river. Very clean and well maintained amenities. This was the last leg of our trip before heading to the airport, a bit more expensive than some of the other options available but definitely worth it after backpacking around. Also the food and service was really awesome. Very happy we chose to stay here.
