Ilocos Urban Wave Resort Hotel

We are staying at the villa you can hear noise from the tricycle and other transportation. Animal noise especially roosters are so loud. On our second day we can smell some sewerage odor inside the villa.

Shower pressure in the suite was a bit weak.

Rooms were not serviced after checkin for our four night stay (had to request toilet paper, coffee, etc at front desk and we had to empty our trash ourselves), bathroom was overwhelmed with sewer smell, and hot water in the shower was problematic as the electrical breaker continually tripped.

We stayed here for 7 nights, and unfortunately the price does not reflect the level of service provided. The photos online look appealing, but if you’re seeking a relaxing stay, I would strongly advise choosing another place.
This property may be suitable for kids and families renting the cottages during the day, but hotel guests even those staying for longer periods receive very limited attention. Loud pop/techno music is played throughout the day, starting as early as 9:00 a.m. On our first morning, after arriving late the night before, the music was already blasting. I raised this issue with staff several times. While one staff member acknowledged the complaint, no real action was taken, and the receptionist simply dismissed it.
We had hoped for a relaxing stay by the pool reading our books but this was impossible.
Because of this, we ended up spending most of our time on day trips just to avoid staying at the property. Unfortunately, we had already paid upfront and could not move elsewhere.
Housekeeping was also very poor. Even when the “please make up the room” sign was displayed, the room was not cleaned. We were told to inform staff directly, but even after doing so, nothing changed.

Overall, this is not a resort.It is essentially a pool with rooms. The experience was disappointing and not worth the price. Improvements in service, responsiveness, and cleanliness are urgently needed. I would not recommend and I will not be coming back.

Noticeable difference in service quality between our stay and certain guest, impacting our stay negatively. Experienced some awkward and frustrating encounters with the hotel amenities and their staff. Food was okay including breakfast was decent but not the best, false buffet. They kick us out from one of our room though we already have checked in and settled maybe to give favor to more important guest accomodation request which was unfair given the

Unfortunately they blast music all the way from the entrance to the end of the resort so you can’t escape the noise until 9pm. It’s also a bit strange they charge P500 per hour to check in early. We got there at 12:30pm and they wouldn’t check us in even though the room was ready.

If youre looking for a quiet relaxing resort this isn’t for you. However if you’re looking for family fun with spacious rooms then I recommend.

The restaurant made a few mistakes on our bill and is expecting us to pay for it, even after the transaction was completed. There are some young people working or interning there who keep staring, making it a little uncomfortable.

Running out of stock, & a noisy engine driven water pump on arrival - which was turned off as soon as we asked.
