Pros:

The room had its own bathroom and small tea coffee area and the heating controls were simple to use. They offered quite a few little bits for breakfast too in the communal kitchen. Easy entry to the apartment that was private. The area has lots of nice pubs, cafés and restaurants to choose from.

Lovely people, clearly trying to make a great place to stay rather than cashing in - a bright future
Pros:

Fantastic hosting, so helpful and friendly. Really lovely room. Above a pub so not dead quiet but nowhere near enough to trouble most unless you want dead silence (nice pub btw, a vibrant Irish style pub).

Cons:

Wifi did not work but the host allowed me to jump the pub Wifi. No breakfast other than some cereals and croissants (in packets) but the the coffee machine pumps out a lovely coffee and there is tea an coffee in the room so no balanced :-)

Super comfortable, convenient and classy!
Pros:

The room was super clean and comfortable. Tastfully designed and spacious Staff perfect amount of involved and great they allow dogs! Added bonus was the breakfast bar downstairs!

Not an ideal or comfortable stay. Only positives were we were there for one night. Overpriced and underserviced.

The location was fine and the limited staff very friendly..

Cons:

The room was difficult to reach up a narrow steep fire escape above some bins in a back ally…
The kettle didn’t work, the heating didn’t work and the handle on the bathroom was broken, locking one of us in. The very nice but stressed single handed barmaid downstairs never found the time to sort this…I broke in with a knife in the end. The room was good sized and comfortable but directly above the stage with live performances going on past midnight.

A great spot - clean, comfortable and good bolt hole.
Pros:

The property was in a great spot at the centre of Heaton Moor village.

Cons:

It was a bit noisy in the evening. The music was good and if I’d been a bit younger I’d have been down there singing along.
