Opulence, comfort and value for money, wrapped up in great service
Pros:

Cathy really made the stay super nice, you can tell she’s working really hard both in the overnight accommodation and the bar to bring a higher level of service to her customers whether they are there for a pint or for somewhere to stay.

You walk into the bar and the first thing that hits you is how spotlessly clean it is, and the smell of cleanliness hits you straight after. The team are all smiles, helpfulness and charm. The accommodation is fresh clean, airy and warm. It really is exceptional at this price.

Cons:

It was 5/5 - and these are the tiniest little niggles… would have liked a non-slip bath mat for the shower and the tv remote batteries had run out.

Pros:

The room had its own bathroom and small tea coffee area and the heating controls were simple to use. They offered quite a few little bits for breakfast too in the communal kitchen. Easy entry to the apartment that was private. The area has lots of nice pubs, cafés and restaurants to choose from.

Lovely people, clearly trying to make a great place to stay rather than cashing in - a bright future
Pros:

Fantastic hosting, so helpful and friendly. Really lovely room. Above a pub so not dead quiet but nowhere near enough to trouble most unless you want dead silence (nice pub btw, a vibrant Irish style pub).

Cons:

Wifi did not work but the host allowed me to jump the pub Wifi. No breakfast other than some cereals and croissants (in packets) but the the coffee machine pumps out a lovely coffee and there is tea an coffee in the room so no balanced :-)
