It was good
Pros:

My children enjoyed the breakfast

Incorrect billing. We were expected to pay extra during check-out because the reception made an error in the billing during check-in

Decent room with a great view
Pros:

The hotel is quite dated but still well-maintained and generally clean. The view from my balcony was lovely! The variety at breakfast was better than expected and the food itself was okay.

Cons:

Having to pay extra for any espresso-based beverage at breakfast was rather budget. Outside my room the internet connectivity was inconsistent. I changed my reservation dates through Booking.com but the team didn't update it prior to my arrival so I paid more than the app indicated.

The breakfast was good

Cons:

The beds are as hard as a rock and very uncomfortable. My husband and I were tossing and turning all night. My body still hurts as I type this 😩 😩 😫 not recommended for people with back problems.

I’m sure if we’d had breakfast it would have been a good experience. Unfortunately we had only 5 hrs
Pros:

The staff I dealt with were truly amazing ambassadors for the hotel. In particular a Mr Vilakazi who helped us with our luggage close to midnight and ensured we had extra towels and a bottle of water. He made sure we know nothing was too much trouble and his affable manner made for a good experience for our weary bones.

Cons:

The hotel is so dated, I am over 50 and have known it since I was a child and absolutely nothing in the rooms has been updated. One can live with the old pastel colouring and dated furniture, but there is no good reason we didn’t have bottled water in the room and the towels were so old and scratchy and there were no bathroom floor mats. The price point is as though these amenities are in place so I do think it would help balance out the old furniture, look and feel, if at least the pillows were newer and more comfortable and the towels were replaced with new ones on time.

Stilistisch in die Jahre gekommen, aber top gepflegt. Zudem sehr sauber. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Frühstück ist solide bis gut, aber nichts besonderes. Den Stil muss man mögen. Rating des Rezeptionsteams inklusive Frage nach "Mitarbeiter des Monats" ist etwas seltsam.

The breakfast was delicious! There was a full range, any type of eater could be satisfied, even a picky eater like myself.

Totally overpriced with amenities, like shower not able to produce warm water, what I think is basic
Cons:

The price that was quoted on booking,com was SZL 1,425.22, VAT SZL 213.78 City tax SZL 10 Total Price SZL 1,649 and I was charged R1, 992.35. This booking was confirmed so I'm not sure where the sudden price increase came from. The room was in good condition, but the lighting was impractical, with switches scattered throughout, which does not make sense. On 17 Jul 2025, I wanted to shower and waited approximately 5 minutes with no warm water. For the price I paid, I feel that showering should have been one of my least concerns, but for me, it is the most important part of sleeping out. Must say that the pricing for the stay was very mush inflated and had a much better stay within Eswatini for half of the price with musb better facilities and hot water at the open of a tap!
