Never ever again
Pros:

The location is close to a station

Cons:

The key cards didn’t work so had to be let in by the front desk every time , and if the one person was on a break you’d have to wait till they finished or use the master key , leave your door open and come back down to give the key back , the rooms were dust, dirty floor, cracked paint, mould in the shower, exposed tv wires, rusted chairs

Fix your door access cards - its been far too long.

Location was good and the bed was small but comfortable.

Cons:

There was no key to get into our hotel room. The front desk person had to let us in every time. Yes, the system was STILL BROKEN. It was pretty insane when there was a group of 6 of us and we all had to squeeze into a small elevator to take a field trip to our rooms. I feel bad for the front desk, but wow. It’s been months since they have had the issue looking back. The front desk guy was incredibly overwhelmed and acted as though we were inconveniencing him. The other lady was fine, but the guy definitely needs a vacation. I think his name was Kevin or something. Kevin, people are PAYING decent money to stay there. It’s not OUR problem, it’s managements problem. Also, your attitude regarding the situation was “unpleasant”. The beds were comfortable though.

Great value hotel

Cons:

Key card system was down (not working until December) so an employee had to let me into my room using the master card everytime i wanted to re-enter. Phones weren’t working either. Inconvenient

Pros:

I have been staying here for years because the location is within walking distance to what I travel for, and pricing is fair for NYC
The rooms have bleached white linens and no rugs(IYKYK). Small but uncluttered

Cons:

Over the last few years, they removed in- room refrigerators and safes. This time around, they had no working card reader system, so an employee had to escort you to your room every time. A worker told me it has been over a month. Seems like they don't want to reinvest any money in the hotel and just keep cutting amenities.

Locks were broken in the whole hotel.
Cons:

The doors had a lock problem and I was unsafe the entire time. I reached out to booking.com to solve this and you guys don’t give a shit about safety. Only about money. So disappointing I will never book with you guys again.

A hotel without room keys? Crazy!
Pros:

Great location!

Cons:

They did not have room keys. It was so bizarre. I have never experienced that. They literally didn’t provide a room key and I had to wait for the staff to take me up the elevator and open my door every single time I returned to the hotel.

Was good enough comparing the prices around
Pros:

Near a subway and pretty clean

Cons:

Some system was down for a couple weeks regarding the staff and they had to open the bedroom door for us. There are 6 floors and about 42 bedrooms, Labor Day weekend, not convenient to NOT have a bedroom key and have to wait for the staff to be available to open the room for us

Pros:
