Clean
I stayed at this hotel hoping for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, but unfortunately there was loud construction right next to the building. The noise started early every morning, making it very difficult to sleep. The soundproofing in the rooms is also poor — you can even hear your neighbors walking.
Another issue was an unpleasant sewage-like smell throughout parts of the hotel, which made the stay even less comfortable.
The rooms themselves are nice, beautiful, and clean. However, the pool looks much bigger in the photos than it actually is — in reality, it’s quite small.
The property is smart and clean, the staff very friendly. The rooms are lovely and spacious with a nice modern feel, this unfortunately is where the positives end
There is no bar only a café, perhaps my fault for not checking properly but expected a hotel like this would provide a bar for relaxing or to have a wine or beer with your meal? But the worst which is really not mentioned in the construction of a massive hotel next door. This over looks the pool and works starts at 7.30am and finishes about 6pm. Whilst i understand this is beyond the hotel to do anything about it should be made clear and not hidden away in the small print. The construction of this hotel i would not expect it to be completed before 2027 at the earliest.
Things to know before booking (read this carefully):
There is extremely loud construction happening directly next to the house from around 7:30 am to 6:00 pm every day. The noise and debris are constant and overwhelming. Rest and sleep are virtually impossible, even with all windows fully closed. This alone makes the property unlivable during the day.
Privacy is completely unacceptable. Construction workers have a clear, direct view into the property at all times. You are constantly being watched, with no meaningful attempt to protect guest privacy.
Staff conduct was appalling. After entering the room for towel replacement and water refill (with permission), staff later accused us of taking a mug and immediately began calculating a “loss” before checking anything. We never used the mug. It was later found untouched. This incident shows a shocking lack of professionalism, trust, and basic respect for guests. Room inspection should be done after the check out not with the name of room service.

A great resort that delivers exactly what you need for a trip to Ubud it was quiet and had all the luxuries with a balcony overlooking the pool. Close enough to walk to cafes and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again when in Ubud.

A not pleasant smell from the shower is coming back up sometimes …
Construction was underway but the hotel provided earplugs for the noise which greatly helped.
