Peaceful River views
Pros:

Great location after our visit to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Small town appeal with quilt shop and Mexican restaurant that we visited. Nice views of the river. We walked along the river in the evening and it was very pleasant. We sat in the rocking chairs in the gazebo and watched the sunset. Very peaceful.

Cons:

The hair dryer didn't work but the ower was very responsive to our other questions.

So fabulous! We both would recommend this place! We could tell that the owner is proud of this property!
Pros:

We loved walking out of the back door of our room and seeing Gunnison River flowing past us! The view was ridiculously great and we had our coffee sitting under the gazebo, on two beautiful rocking chairs every morning.

Cons:

Our room #7 had a known issue with the toilet. We reported it, but it wasn’t fixed while we were there. Hopefully, it will be fixed in the next few days, now that we have gone back home.

Love staying here in the lodge! Beautiful scenery, Gunnison River with lots of paths, stores within walking distance and your own private fenced backyard for pups and getting your vitamin D in your Adirondack chairs. Hospitable staff, Individual door codes,, clean, and well worth the modest price!

Pros:

Very Unique and Peaceful!

I love this place! Beautiful natural surroundings next to the Gunnison. Easy door code with private back door leading to you're very own fenced space to have a beverage of your choice. The.yard doubles as a space for dogs to play and and watch what's going on. Very pet friendly! Quiet and peaceful. I will always come back here to stay!

We will be back! It was wonderful.
Pros:

The beds were so comfortable and the location was beautiful. It was nice to feel like a safe place for the kids to get somw wiggles out by exploring along the river. We ordered pizza and ate outside at the picnic tables and then paid for the upgrade to roast smores after our evening swim meet! It was the best! We also loved the ice machine with the filtered cold water machine.

Cons:

We arent coffee drinkers, so maybe some tea or breakfast pastries in the morning would have been nice!
