Nice apartment with good location but lacks quality cleaning.
Pros:

Plenty of utensils for cooking. Reasonably stable Internet. A large number of TV channels. The staff is always on the phone and very promptly answer all questions.

Cons:

It was very dirty upon check-in (Crumbs on the table, chairs, floor, kitchen shelves. Lots of dust in the cupboards. In the bathroom all the walls were covered with hair). We cleaned what we could ourselves when we arrived. Front doors without any soundproofing (we woke up at night if someone was walking down the stairs). Washing machine was faulty (stopped during rinse and would not wash further). The shower room had bad water going down the drain. There was not enough microwave in the kitchen and a mirror somewhere by the front door, not just in the bathroom).

Pros:

The room has everything you need for a long stay. Everything is fairly new and working.The owner is extremely responsive - he quickly answered questions, organized a late check-in and helped with other little things. Thank him very much for a comfortable stay! Close to the metro and buses. It's quiet here at night, which is rare in the center.

Cons:

The area itself, although it is close to Taksim, is not very pleasant.

Beatiful big apartament
Pros:

In this price you get big apartament with all amendities, the washing mashine was huge andvatage for me. There is no lift, but Istambul is not flat anyway so you must be prepared for climbing, we were on 4th floor but it was not issue at all.

Pros:

Definitely can recommend this place. The room has everything you might need even for a long stay, the bed is comfortable, the location is central, the staff is very welcoming and helpful.

Cons:

I had a small issue with the weak water pressure - probably because I was on the 5th floor, but what can you do at that point. Also you can hear all the neighbors talking/watching TV.
