Great spot for a really peaceful break
Pros:

This is a pleasant beachfront property. The rooms are a decent size, clean with very comfortable beds. Although there is no breakfast or half/full board option, there is a well equipped communal kitchen that you can use to prepare your own food. There is a small shop opposite the hotel and numerous bars and restaurants within walking distance. The staff are friendly and well-informed about the beach (tides, swell, sunrise/set, etc) and the location in general. We thought this hotel represented good value for money. A great place to chill out with a good book - the surfing looked OK, too

It’s super close to the beach, good value for money and comfy rooms. Santiago - the manager is really helpful. He makes fresh coffee every morning and helped us organise horse riding for the same day

Wonderful spot in Popoyo
Pros:

We love it here! We originally booked four nights, but then extended five more! It’s located in a great spot with a market right across the street, plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The property touches the beach so you’re just a one minute walk away from the water. Beginners bay is about 20 to 25 minute walk, but we dont mind. The rooms are very comfy with nice beds and air conditioners. The housekeepers come daily and keep everything fresh and clean for you. Full kitchen to use and free coffee is set out every morning! Santiago is a fantastic host! He’s been very helpful and fun to spend some time with. We will definitely return here someday.

Pros:

Santiago was very helpful, he set up motorbike rentals, transport and gave great restaurant recommendations. The facility’s were amazing. The kitchen was easy to cook in. Overall it was relatively inexpensive for a group of 6. We will definitely be staying again!

Wonderful stay, would go back again.
Pros:

Loved the staff, Santi, Yvonne and Delicia are all wonderful people. We appreciated that they allowed us to cook in their very clean kitchen. They also were kid friendly. There was silence at night, which we appreciated greatly. The staff is what really made this hotel shine. They take pride in their work, and you can see how clean it is as compared to other Nicaraguan hotels.

Cons:

Pillows are not comfortable.

Great location, super friendly host. Would recommend
Pros:

Great stay close to the restaurants and bars in Guasacaste. Santiago is a great host and very friendly. Rooms are basic but wit AC which is great. Lots of hammocks and rocking chairs on the property so always a place to relax. Beach is super close, just walk to it straight behind the accommodation.

Cons:

The pillows were a bit small

I love popoyo and Club Surf was a fantastic place to stay whilst visiting.
Pros:

Felt at home, clean and peaceful.
Across from the convenience store.
And just a short walk to the beachfront.

Cons:

No hot water - seems to be common in Popoyo though.
