Pros:

The owner was really friendly and interested.

Cons:

The pool was nice, however there is a path between the lake and the hotel, so you have no privacy while in the pool. The accommodation could be cleaner

Kind manager, idealistic pool and pier.
Pros:

The manager was very kind and had good recommendations and connections to help you with the rest of your trip. The pool, close to the lake was very enjoyable and refeshing.

Poorly trained staff
Dirty rooms and unusable pool area (filthy)
Poor breakfast - left most of it
Poorly maintained (see pictures)
Had to shave in basin by the pool
Very poor value for price - no excuse for dirty floors, none function water and AC which barely works.
Only source of light is to open doors onto shared balcony.
Pictures are very flattering a just don’t expect a nice hotel up close.

I really loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall service was excellent. It was a lovely place to stay and I really enjoyed my experience ❤️

Pros:

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The food was amazing, and the staff members were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The service was outstanding, and the overall experience was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again!

Pros:

The place is really lovely, the breakfast is excellent and the staff are friendly.

Cons:

The room is full of insects, and not even the mosquito net over the bed can help, it’s a proper invasion. It’s hard to sleep.

​The location right near the water is stunning, providing beautiful scenery and a quiet, relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. The unique decor and lush, peaceful grounds give it such a charming vibe.

​Best of all, the staff are wonderful—so friendly, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

Pros:

Our experience in Anuradhapura was very enjoyable because of Glen, the manager, his staff, and exceptional chef. Nothing was too much trouble. Glen arranged a tuk tuk tour which was perfect, and researched which bus we needed to catch back to Colombo. We have taken with us wonderful memories of our stay.

Cons:

The property is a little outdated, but as mentioned above, the hospitality of Glen and his staff more than made up for it.
