Pros:

Stayed at The Hood, Bir in the deluxe room and had a really pleasant experience. The room was comfortable, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a day around Bir.

Rahul, the property owner, was extremely sweet and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. The staff was also very kind and attentive, they made sure I was well taken care of the entire time.

Overall, a warm and welcoming place to stay in Bir. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.

Pros:

The room is really cozy and well decorated. Rahul is also a very chill host and the entire staff is quite helpful. You can get everything from the hostel itself from scoty to paragliding.

Go for it!
Pros:

I stayed in the 4-bed dorm. It was a really nice place for workation and has an ample amount of space to spend time indoors if you would like. Really comfy and tidy.
Food is good too.
Rahul and his staff were very welcoming and friendly. As I was traveling solo, the host made sure that I didn't have any sort of problem during the stay .
The location is superb. You can easily get down or even catch the bus right at the Hood's gate. It's like that!
Vinod bhaiya was super nice and helpful.
Overall, must stay once here!
Planning to come again during winters.

Cons:

The only thing that I didn't like is that I went there during monsoons, so couldn't really spend time in the backyard of the stay because of overgrown grasses and heavy rain.
Must check in winters as the vibe is great.

The Hood in Bir truly felt like a home away from home — warm vibes, cozy rooms, and amazing hosts. The location was just perfect, with everything from cafes to paragliding spots within walking distance. Can’t wait to come back to this peaceful little gem!

The property is run by a young couple who are great company to chat with, and the property itself has a chill vibe. The staff is proactive, customer focused & prompt at serving the guests. The open sit-out lawn was amazing, as the weather was pleasant. The property is right on the main road and is easily accessible with your own vehicle or public transport; it also has ample car parking. Shout out to Shashi (from the kitchen team), who has a candid sense of humour; he gave us special attention & served delicious food.

Pros:

Absolutely loved staying at this property. It's tucked away just enough to escape the noise, but still close enough to walk to easily. The place is fairly new—clean rooms, peaceful nights, and stunning views. The hosts (Rahul and Laxmi) truly go above and beyond, with some incredible recommendations that can make your trip memorable. It’s not a typical hostel, which I prefer - just one dorm room and the rest are private rooms. I still got to meet other solo travellers without dealing with the chaos of a hostel vibe.

Perfect cozy stay
Pros:

I travelled with my dog and The hood was the perfect place for the same . We loved our stay here . Food was delicious and staff was very helpful . They helped with the near by hidden places .

Pros:

Location was serene, hosts were good. Place was well maintained.

Cons:

For a solo traveller this is not ideal as there is only one 4-bed dorm room, so you don't get to interact with more people. Also they need to have a better bed frame as the top bunk was squeaky.
