Cons:

Failed to see the property or check in because due to a delayed flight we arrived after check in time. We were told whilst on our way to the hotel at 10pm from the airport that we would be arriving too late to check in. We booked the hotel opposite at short notice and were told that the owner lives in the property and was asleep which is why we couldn’t check in. A very stressful experience having had our accommodation cancelled at such short notice.

The room and the food were excellent. The garden and plants were nice.

Cons:

There was a VAT tax of 17 USD to pay extra, no other places asked for it and we travelled for 3 weeks in Sri Lanka, using only booking.

Pros:

A really beautiful and cozy room near the beach of Mirissa. The hostess was really nice and we were really impressed, as she reduced the price, because we would skip breakfast the last day (without even asking for it)!
There is also an amazing restaurant in the location of the hotel you should definitely try!

Velice milý, vstřícný personál. Čisté ubytování se sdílenou lednicí. Výborné snídaně na terase s výhledem do útulné zahrady. Klidná lokalita 200 m od pláže. Vedle ubytování restaurace se skvělou kuchyní.

Pros:

Les personnes qui m’ont accueillie ont vraiment été très sympathiques. L’établissement est très bien situé dans le centre de Mirissa ce qui est vraiment pratique. Leur petit déjeuné était délicieux et copieux.

Lovely simple stay no issues
Pros:

Lovely stay. Tucked away up a hill, the room was lovely, even has a hairdryer. We did struggle to get the shower hot. Air con was good, and good location at the very end of the beach. If you wanna be more central on the beach it’s about a 10 min walk not a big deal. Close to restaurants.

Cons:

Lots of flies and mozzies around at breakfast time, a fan or some insect repellent could be nice

Great value for money and lovely host.
Pros:

The location is great and very close to the beach but also very quiet. Lovely host and great breakfast. The room was a good size and very good value for money. The room has aircon, a fan and a mosquito net.

Cons:

There is a steep hill to get to the property which wasn’t a problem for us but worth noting if you have mobility issues. It meant the accommodation was in a quiet location so it’s not that we didn’t like it but was something we thought was worth mentioning.
