Une halte paisible et delicieuse
Pros:

L’accueil et le service, exceptionnellement chaleureux
La vue sur le loch depuis la chambre et la salle à manger

Pros:

Hotel is small and cozy, restaurant was delicious, the staff were super welcoming and helpful in everything we needed. Location is excellent - 10 minutes drive from the NP sitting on the lake shore.
Would definitely come back.

Sehr viel Charme, etwas wenig Comfort.

Ein Haus mit viel Charme in absolut traumhafter Lage.
Die Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer war malerisch.
Wir wurden sehr nett und aufmerksam bedient.
Das Essen sowohl am Abend als auch am Morgen war erstklassig. Da wir am Abreisetag sehr früh abfahren mussten wurde uns ein Lunchpaket mitgegeben. Das war sehr freundlich.
Abgesehen vom Bad ( siehe unten) haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Cons:

Wie schon oft beschrieben sind die Zimmer mit viel schottischem Charme in die Jahre gekommen.
Die Matratzen waren uns zu weich, aber das ist Geschmackssache.
Ganz schlecht müssen wir leider das Badezimmer bewerten. Das aus der Leitung nur braunes und vor allem wenig Wasser kommt ist eventuell technisch bedingt aber die Sanitärrintichtungen sind auch alt und etwas schäbig. Am Waschbecken sind 2 Einzel Hähne. Einer wirklich heiß und einer kalt. Da wäre es hilfreich Zahnputzgläser zur Verfügung zu stellen.
Haare waschen geht gar nicht weil der Druck nicht reicht.
Wir waren gewarnt und haben es entsprechend geplant.

Pros:

Views over the Loch were amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they made you feel at home. The rooms were cleaned every day and restocked with tea and coffee.

Cons:

The room was small but adequate, shower was also very small. WiFi wasn't great and only got a few TV channels.

Small hotel with a big personality. Great value and we will return.
Pros:

Quiet location, lovely room overlooking the loch, very attentive staff who were so friendly and chatty. Fabulous menu choices and great food. Extremely dog friendly too.

Cons:

Bathroom looked a little tired in places.

Schönes Hotel am Loch Maree
Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Einrichtung entsprechend eines ehemaligen Herrenhauses. Es gibt auch ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant. Zimmer ruhig und sauber. Alles vorhanden, was man braucht.

Lovely hotel and very friendly team, amazing views from our room and the garden.
Pros:

The friendly and welcoming staff, the view, the building with its history. I enjoyed my breakfast particularly as it was a welcome change from the standard hotel breakfasts we’d had recently. The housemartins nesting above our room.

Cons:

A lift would have been nice for our heavy suitcases and dodgy knees but it’s nitpicking as we managed fine.

Very nice and friendly staff, great room, awesome dinner and breakfast.
Pros:

Awesome people/staff, very good and spacious room, very comfortable bed and facilities and a nice location. Even the water used for the facilities is straight from nature! But maybe most important: dinner and breakfast was outstanding and exceeded expectations!

Only worth 1 night stay over
Pros:

The place was great for the NC500 and overlooked a lake.
The staff were trying their best but it is clear the management are cutting costs to the bone when assessing the evening meals and breakfast.

Cons:

The evening was very poor as it seemed as though it had been over microwaved and it was expensive for the lack of quality presented, however there is nowhere else to eat.
