We did not have breakfast, the location is excellent and convenient
The room could have been a little larger and the coffee machine easier to use.
The location and the room we booked called Luxe Room was beautiful. The restaurant was busy and vibrant too
Breakfast is until 10 am far is too early . I paid £25 for late check out till 12 . As we had an event we attended locally the night before . But in the morning The cleaner banged and crashed so much so , that we couldn’t sleep past 9.30 . This was so inconsiderate I thought as we had the do not disturb sign on the door obviously indicating we were asleep . She must’ve slammed the door next to ours 20 times as she was in and out changing sheets and replacing towels and banging the vacuum hoover hard against the wall and skirting boards . This really put me off .
It was lovely authentic and clean .
Also everything we needed and very comfortable bed.

The stairs is our only complaint.
Lots of lovely touches such as “proper” milk and chocolates in a bell glass dome. Staff were very helpful and the snug room (small but perfectly formed) met our needs. Surrounded by forest it was brilliant to walk out in a morning and walk the dog in such gorgeous surroundings
No parking space, had to drive across the road and pay, also meant I could have a drink after travelling 200 miles as I would have to have the car when a space became available

I like that they kept the original features
Located just outside Epping Forest and a short walk from Chingford Station (with sidewalk available the whole distance), the location is quite nice. Updated inside and out, it is quite attractive, while maintaining classic features. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern. The restaurant and bar are sizeable and seem popular with locals, which I think is a good sign, and we enjoyed our meal there. A number of tables are available outdoors as well. The card-key security system is effective at admitting only guests to the residence area. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good, daily housekeeping. Nice coffee maker.
It is a 3-story building with no lift, and hauling our luggage up the flights of stairs was a chore. The air conditioning was welcome, but seemed barely able to keep up with demand. It is on a busy road, somewhat marring the otherwise idyllic setting.
