Luxurious and comfy
Pros:

Good location and really comfy beds. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Cons:

Initially my room was beside noisy exterior air conditioning units and when I asked the staff about a possible swap they were so helpful and accommodating and even upgraded me to a bigger room!

short stay in Cork to catch up with friends
Pros:

room was lovely, clean, cosy, view not great, but it was at the back of the hotel and its in the city, so to be expected
breakfast was good, plenty to choose from, there's a nice bar. I enjoyed my stay

Cons:

I like this hotel, the location is great, right in the heart of the city, the only downside is lack of parking, but this is because of its central location

Excellent location but the hotel car park location was an inconvenience. Other car parks are nearer.
Pros:

Excellent location, walkable to everything. Lovely friendly staff. Great breakfast. Rooms spotless.

Cons:

The car parkis too far away especially if you have to walk back in the rain. They did say you can pull up outside and drop your bags however I circled twice and the front of the hotel was full of taxis. There is a nearby Q Park car park, which would be much better and a shorter walk if the weather is unpleasant. The room was small, okay for one, but quite tight for two, and it was very hot.

I would stay again.
Pros:

I liked the grandness of the hotel and the bedroom is bright.

Cons:

The bathroom is small and hasn’t got any natural light so you have to put the light on and then the exactor comes on as well.
It’s impossible not to waken other person in the bedroom.

Good location, beware rolling off the twin bed
Pros:

good in room coffee machine and very strong shower, which was welcome

Cons:

Where do I start? The room was tight with barely enough space for two people and two suitcases. The bathroom had no hooks to speak of save for one on the back of the door, which made it hard to reuse towels to save water and other resources. We didn't even have a good spot for a hand towel used at the sink so we just kept it hanging off the basin which wasn't ideal.
The beds - in my opinion - were not comfortable. I constantly felt like I was going to roll off the side of the bed during the night, I don't know if this was because the bed itself was lopsided or worn down on one side or if it was just because the building is older - which wasn't really an issue otherwise - and the floors slanted.
The only useful mirror with appropriate lighting/outlets was in the bedroom and there was only one chair that could be used if you wanted to sit while, say, blow drying hair or applying makeup. However, there was no room to actually pull the chair from the corner into this spot, so we were left having to sit on the bed which was challenging because they were rather high up. There was also a round table in the room which seemed only to serve the purpose of holding the coffee maker and kettle, but because it was relatively large and round made it take up a ton of space that would have been better used for something else.
Overall, I just felt like for the price the value wasn't there, and the layout of the room and furnishings didn't match. A room that size could have benefited from furniture of a different scale/placement.
