Pros:

Huge thanks to the team at Amagi Aria. They granted me a complimentary late checkout which made my travel day so much easier. A special mention to the housekeeping supervisor on duty on the 22nd who was incredibly helpful and personally made sure I had everything I needed. Such a professional and welcoming team-I will definitely be back

Pros:

Stayed overnight in a city view suite, breakfast and airport transfer included. Airport transfer was easy especially welcome after arriving in Colombo after midnight. Very nice room, good food, friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastic transit hotel.
Pros:

It was a beautiful hotel right on the lake
Pool excellent ,grounds lovely .Room large with lovely balcony.Great location to airport..Staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast excellent.

Cons:

Only thing I noticed was there were no soaps ,shower wash shampoo or conditioners.

Room and location great. Food and staff behaviour awful.
Pros:

Room was nice and clean. Had a nice view of water and close to airport

Cons:

Food was awful and expensive. Both breakfast and dinner just trying to fleece tourists. Then at check out we had to wait while they checked room?? They initially said 2 hand towels were missing. They found one but not the other. Not what you want to deal with when needing to catch a flight. Not sure if this is standard for Sri Lanka but never heard of waiting for room being checked before you can check out??

Pros:

The rooms are very spacious. There’s a nice view of the lagoon and pool from the room balcony. Breakfast buffet was good. Hotel staff are very accommodating and friendly.

Very pleasant, it was a stop over with kids for our flights
Pros:

View was amazing

Cons:

Light and cleanliness. Flies every where. Cab cost to airport at the hotel was 3k, we paid outside 1.5k, massive difference.
