a great surprise
Pros:

The staff were really kind. Shukrullo, the night manager was always willing to help me and give recommendations, and to share the culture of Uzbekistan. Really great family place.

Cons:

I believe the breakfast food could have been warmed up everyday. That would be my only thing I would recommend.

Great stay in beautiful Samarkand
Pros:

This is a family run hotel in a quieter part of Samarkand. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - going beyond the usual expectations. The owner, Amir and the hotel administrators/front of desk people Shukrullo and Sayar, were brilliantly helpful. The breakfast was also so good!

Cons:

All the rooms are up stairs which could affect people who are physically challenged.

Poor experience
Pros:

There are not many restaurants nearby, so it's not very convenient.

Cons:

I booked a room on Booking.com and stayed for one night. I checked out the next morning, then came back the following evening and booked again. The price was much higher than the previous day, but they gave me the exact same room I had stayed in before. What’s worse, the room had not even been cleaned. This was very disappointing and did not feel worth the higher price.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everything was great from the moment I arrived. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the value for money is honestly perfect. The staff and the owner are very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better.

What I loved most was the warm and relaxing atmosphere of the place. You can really feel that they care about their guests and pay attention to the small details. It’s the kind of hotel where you feel comfortable right away and would gladly come back again. Highly recommended!

Cons:

I cannot find anything not to like about this hotel. This should be the go to when in Samarkand.

В душевой кабине работала только холодная вода, после обращение в ресепшен безрезультатно, две ночи без горячий воды, с улицы очень сильно слышно шум проезжающих машин

Приехали в Узбекистан на праздничные выходные, и сразу рванули на скоростном поезде в Самарканд. Бронь поставили за 2 дня заранее через Booking выбор пал на Amir Plaza. Сразу написали, что нужна встреча с вокзала и два номера — один для нас и один для троих детей, чтобы были рядом. Денег заранее никаких не платили.
Честно, всё сделали как просили. Встретили на комфортной машине, с заселением тоже никаких проблем — номера дали рядом, очень удобно с детьми, чтобы были под присмотром.
Отдельно хочется сказать про администраторов Закира — спокойный, вежливый, без лишней суеты, но при этом всё решает и Амира - позитивный и отзывчивый. Приятно иметь дело с такими людьми.
Сам отель новый, чистый, уютный — без пафоса, но всё аккуратно и комфортно. Завтрак вообще порадовал — шведский стол, выбор хороший, всё вкусно как дома.
Остались очень довольны. В следующий раз когда будем в Самарканде (ещё не все исторические места посетили;))— обязательно становимся здесь же. Рекомендую 👍
