Aleksandro is great ! He picked us up carried our luggage arranged the Parking and attendend and gave us wine and coffee from the house.

Our first night in Albania & what a fantastic start! The wonderful warm welcome by Aleksandro, gold stars for his hospitality, beautifully appointed rooms, comfortable beds, welcome wine to enjoy whilst soaking up the amazing views. Position is excellent, short stroll to the old town, castle is a 5 min walk, wish we could have stayed longer. Thankyou, we will certainly recommend to our friends 🙏🏼

We had a lovely stay here - the hotel has been in the owner’s family for several generations and he recently opened the property to guests. The historic home is charming and comfortable, well decorated, and perfectly located for exploring both the castle and old town of Gjirokaster. The dedicated parking was also a lifesaver. The staff in particular were delightful - Alexandros went over and above to give us recommendations for the best places to eat and make us feel welcome in Gjirokaster. Would return in a heartbeat.

Staff helped us with parking, carried our bags to the hotel, and even welcomed us with a bottle of wine! Couldn’t have been a better stay. The rooms were stunning and comfortable as well. Short downhill walk to the main town. Wish we honestly stayed longer. Thank you again for your hospitality

Aleksandros was the perfect host! always smiling and really welcoming us all the time. He gave tips and indications all the time, he was really kind. The location is perfect, just few minutes away walking from the castle and the city center. The room was beautiful!

Perfect and stunning location right beneath the castle of Gjirokastër. I was able to park my motorcycle for free and very securely in an inner courtyard. The personal attention was extremely friendly, and the hospitality made the stay something special. The room was a dream — high-quality furnished and lovingly renovated, with great attention to detail. From the two terraces, I had a wonderful view over the city. Highly recommended!

Cute boutique property. You have to walk down a cobblestone street like most hotels in the old town. But the staff is more than happy to help, they carried our bags and placed them in the rooms for us. Gave us a bottle of wine as a little welcome surprise. Overall a good stay with good people.

Een fantastische kamer, echt heel mooi! De lokatie is ook goed. Even aangeven dat je met de auto komt, dan reserveren ze een parkeerplaats voor je.

Alexander at reception could not have been more helpful. He assisted us proactively when someone had parked in the hotel-designated parking spot and carried our luggage all the way to the room. The suite was extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel is a quick walk to the castle and bazaar. It is the perfect place to stay if you are planning to explore Gjirokaster.
