DAM Stone Boutique Hotel

Een fantastische kamer, echt heel mooi! De lokatie is ook goed. Even aangeven dat je met de auto komt, dan reserveren ze een parkeerplaats voor je.

Cute boutique property. You have to walk down a cobblestone street like most hotels in the old town. But the staff is more than happy to help, they carried our bags and placed them in the rooms for us. Gave us a bottle of wine as a little welcome surprise. Overall a good stay with good people.

Alexander at reception could not have been more helpful. He assisted us proactively when someone had parked in the hotel-designated parking spot and carried our luggage all the way to the room. The suite was extremely clean and comfortable. The hotel is a quick walk to the castle and bazaar. It is the perfect place to stay if you are planning to explore Gjirokaster.

Mooi ingerichte kamer, lekker bed en fijne badkamer met genoeg ruimte voor je toiletspulletjes.
Vriendelijke ontvangst door Aleksandro. Gratis parkeerplaats (van het hotel) op 3 minuten lopen. Zowel de oude straatjes- als het Kasteel zijn 5 tot 8 min lopen. Heerlijke fles rode Albanese wijn gekregen om op het fijne terras op te drinken ( of mee te nemen, kan ook). We verbleven hier maar 1 nacht, maar het was top, echt een aanrader

The beds

The place was wonderful. Beautifully decorated to reflect the tradition of Gjirokastra while still having modern comforts. The room was cozy, very clean and had everything we needed. The location is excellent. Only a short walk from the Bazaar and Castle yet very quiet area at night. The best thing was the staff and service. Aleksandro treated us like family. He was very welcoming and we were treated like royalty. An example of Albanian hospitality at its best.

The hotel is so beautifully renovated, just a 3-5 minute walk from the old town and the castle. Aleksandro is a GEM! He was so kind and helpful, and a pleasure to speak with. The parking is a huge perk because parking in the city is a nightmare. The room was clean, remodeled, and pleasant. Coffee on the terrace was a nice touch. Great experience overall!

I wish I didn’t have leave - we absolutely loved this hotel. It’s beautifully built and definitely feels boutique. The terrace is lovely to sit on and soak in the views and the staff are all really friendly and attentive.

There wasnt breakfast but the beds were incredibly comfortable. It's a unique place, very close to rhe castle and a 5 minute walk to downtown. The staff.wse stellar, carried our bags down from the car, gave us free water whenever we needed and even made sure we had a good parking place.

We loved almost everything about this hotel. The location was excellent, and the views were absolutely stunning. The hotel was very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Alessandro at reception, who was exceptional. He was always helpful, attentive, and available whenever we needed assistance. He truly made our stay more enjoyable.
