DAM Stone Boutique Hotel

De uitstraling van de accommodatie, met de authentieke haard, waren een toppunt. Ook werden we heel vriendelijk ontvangen door het personeel van het hotel en kregen we tips waar te ontbijten etc. in Gjirokastër. Bij het uitchecken hielp dezelfde collega mee met onze koffers dragen; heel attent.

De staff is super, staan de hele dag voor je klaar en helpen waar nodig.
Locatie is ideaal 5 minuten lopen naar old town en naar het kasteel. Ze hebben parkeerplekken gereserveerd.

Außergewöhnliches Boutique-Hotel – eine absolute Empfehlung in Gjirokastra

Wir waren während unserer Albanien-Reise als Paar im DAM Stone Boutique Hotel und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Für uns war es definitiv eines der Highlights unserer Reise und hat unsere Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen.

Die Lage ist hervorragend. Man ist direkt an der historischen Altstadt von Gjirokastra und kann die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und kleinen Gassen wunderbar zu Fuß erkunden.

Besonders schön fanden wir die Kombination aus dem historischen Gebäude und der modernen, stilvollen Ausstattung. Die alten Steinmauern und die traditionelle Architektur wurden erhalten, ohne dass man auf Komfort verzichten muss. Unser Zimmer hatte unglaublich viel Charme und wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt.

Was den Aufenthalt aber wirklich besonders gemacht hat, waren die Menschen. Wir wurden ausgesprochen herzlich empfangen und während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts sehr aufmerksam und persönlich betreut. Uns wurde bei der Anreise und beim Parken geholfen, wir bekamen Empfehlungen für Gjirokastra und hatten sehr nette persönliche Gespräche. Genau diese kleinen Dinge machen den Unterschied. Man fühlt sich hier nicht einfach wie irgendein Hotelgast, sondern wirklich willkommen.

Wer in Gjirokastra eine besondere Unterkunft mit Charakter, perfekter Lage und außergewöhnlich herzlichen Gastgebern sucht, sollte hier übernachten.

De kamer was mooi, fijn bed en mooie badkamer. Alexandro was erg behulpzaam!

I absolutely recommend this hotel! The location is perfect and the parking spot is very convenient if you come by car. The room was clean and well equipped. We were greeted by Aleksandro who was super friendly and welcoming. He helped us parking the car, carrying our luggage and gave us nice restaurant recommendations. The views from the hotel entrance are also absolutely stunning.

Aleksandro is een geweldige gastheer. Hij maakt het je comfortabel en kan je vanalles vertellen over wat te doen in de omgeving en waar te eten. Kamer is super sfeervol en authentiek ingericht. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf de kamer op de bergen

Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich, einer Mischung aus traditionell und modern eingerichtet. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer war wunderschön. In nur ca. 5 Gehminuten hat man den Bazaar erreicht.
Wir wurden sehr herzlich von dem Rezeptionist Aleksandro begrüßt. Er hat uns alles gezeigt und Empfehlungen für Restaurants gegeben.

Beautiful building in a spectacular setting maintaining the character and charm of the town. We basically had a mini apartment with three separate bedrooms and two bathrooms and seating area. Alexander was very helpful and responsive. He even carried our bags from the car down the steep entrance. The location is very convenient, just steps from the castle and above old town shops and restaurants

Logement de caractère idéalement situé offrant une vue magnifique sur la ville et les montagnes. L'atout majeur du lieu provient aussi de son hôte, Alexander, qui nous a accueilli avec bienveillance, gentillesse et disponibilité. On recommande cet hébergement les yeux fermés.

Het authentieke hotel gelegen net buiten het oude centrum gaf ons de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor Gjirokaster. Heerlijke hotelkamer!

My husband and I stayed here for one night during our visit to Gjirokastër, and we absolutely loved it! The hotel is beautiful, with the perfect location and a wonderful blend of modern comfort and historic charm. Our room was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed—everything we were hoping for during our stay. The parking was also incredibly convenient and easy, which was a huge plus.
But the true highlight of our stay was the incredible Alexander. From the moment we arrived, he was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. His hospitality truly made our stay special.
We highly recommend this outstanding hotel to anyone visiting Gjirokastër. Beautiful property, perfect location, and most importantly, exceptional customer service. We would absolutely stay here again!

Nice property. Airy and clean

We loved everything. The warm welcome. The generous hospitality. The gorgeous view. The most comfy beds!! We were positively surprised and enjoyed ever second of our stay. It was clean, comfortable, and felt luxurious. The hosts were so kind and always willing to help with whatever we needed. 100/10 would recommend!
