Family stay
Pros:

Location, good spot for nearby attractions. Nice big windows and comfortable beds.
There was an issue with the toilet and bedroom light but the hosts sorted this out on the first night and it was dealt with. Good service from the hosts.

Cons:

First appearance could not get car onto drive due to the gate not fully opening and there was rubbish and it was overgrown.
The back garden was very untidy and overgrown with a fence panel down, holes in fence, rubbish at the bottom of garden and side of house, loose parts of broken wood and lots of dog poo still left in garden.
The cooker extractor fan hose was away from the wall so did not feel comfortable using the cooker, a broken handle on a cupboard, no plug for kitchen sink to wash up. The cups, plates and cutlery were all dirty when went to use. There was a screw stuck up from conservatory flooring which we caught our foot on.
Advertise as being suitable for a family, although there was 3 bedrooms there was only a 2 person dining table with 2 chairs in the kitchen, which seemed unpractical.
We also spotted a few fleas in the living room.
The bathroom door did not lock. Also no slippers or clothes rack as advertised and only had small towels

Pros:

The space was fantastic. Communications from the host were timely and polite. The room sizes were fab and the garden was so big. The facilities were great like the washing machine. The area isn't too noisy. It gets very warm and cosy inside.

Pros:

The communication from the owner was good, self check in and no problems with codes etc.

Cons:

The property itself is just awful.
We had rented to stay for a funeral. My heart sank when we arrived but I just didn’t have the energy to complain absorbed in grief. It’s only now a few weeks after our stay can I even bring myself to write this.
Decoration is awful, I’m pretty sure there was blood in the ceiling in the lounge!
You can feel each and every spring in the bed.
The garden is horrendous, broken fences, rubbish both large and small just strewn everywhere.
In fairness I’ve not raised with the owner, just feel really let down at a time when I just needed a bit of comfort and a good night sleep. In all honesty anyone who thinks this is an ok standard to let out isn’t going to listen anyway!

Good size, close to the train station.
The washing machine a d dryer very convinient.

Cons:

The toilet and bathroom was very small.
Some pots and pans were very old. However there was enough cutlery.
