Nothing. It was a disgrace. I'd have given it a 0 if I could.
As soon as we walked in we were hit my by the stench of mould from the place. There was black mould all around the windows in the kitchen and bathroom. The shower cubicle had black mould in it and the shower curtain was black from the bottom up with mould. The floors were dirty. There were unfilled holes in the walls. The furniture throughout (straight out of the 1960s) was grubby, old and dirty and was covered in a stick layer of what I can only assume was nicotine form the heavy smoker tenant prior to handover to "infinity". The kitchen had screws sticking out of worktops. Parts of the cupboards were broken off, there was an old broken plastic clock haning on the wall, the electric heater up on the wall was *ancient* must have been 70s, 80s at best. There was no draw string to turn it on! The blinds in the kitchen looked like someone had thrown a cup of dirty water over them. The main bedroom carpet had two huge burn marks on it. The furniture was shabby and dated. The bedding had a makers mark from the early 1980s. The skirting boards had a quarter inch thick layer of nicotine on which had a layer of dust on top of. There was oil pouring down the inside of the front door from the mechaism to keep the door from closing quickly. The draft excluder strip on the front door was only half attached. There were dirty marks all along the walls throughout the property. The radiators were damaged throughout the property. The other electric wall heater had no draw string and was similarly ancient. The bedding in the second bedroom was also from the 1980s. There was no wi-fi router anywhere so no wi-fi which is the least of it. We complained immediately and were told that someone would be round to clean the next day. We told them that I have lung disease so that would not be appropriate. They would need to use mould remover, wait til it dried, repaint and clear the house of mould spores.
Excellent apartment, very clean and in a excellent location in city center
The owner upgraded us to bigger property which a big favour for us as a family. The upgraded was huge and very comfortable as well. There’s a lot of lighting and well equipped kitchen.
The property was inside the city which expected to be noisy around the area. We are next to the club which keeps us awake until 5am. The property was very cooled for us maybe it’s winter but not enough heating to keep us warm despite the owner tried to fixed the heating.
Location was great. Very accessible for my elderly and disabled father. Communication was great and property was clean and comfortable
Although there was a washing machine, there was no dryer or drying rack
IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO IDENTIFY ANYTHING WE LIKED APART FROM PARKING
THIS APARTMENT IS DEFINITELY NOT DISABLED FRIENDLY. NARROW DOORS AND CORRIDORS MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO MOVE AROUND IN AN ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR. THE SHOWER WAS NOT ROLL IN AS DESCRIBED BUT A SHOWER CUBICLE WHICH I WOULD DESCRIBE AS WALK IN NOT GOOD WHEN YOU CAN'T WALK. FAR TOO MUCH FURNITURE IN THE APARTMENT, AGAIN FOR MOVNG AROUND. MY SAVING GRACE WAS MY SHOWER CHAIR WHICH I TRANSFERRED TO IN ORDER TO ACCESS THE ROOMS. I COULD GO ON BUT WOULD ADVISE YOU TO INFORM ANY FUTURE GUESTS OF THE LIMITATIONS FOR DISABILITY.
FURTHER TO YOUR COMMENTS:
I USE AN ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WOULD IT FIT IN THE SHOWER "AREA". THIS IS THE RESPONSE I GOT FROM YOU WHEN I ASKED IF THE SHOWER WAS ROLL IN (WHICH IT ISN'T, THERES A TRAY WITH A LIP)
"Yes its a roll-in it has no step with a seat and extra-long shower hose." II AGREE IT HAS A SEAT ETC. BUT I WOULD JUST ASK YOU, IF ASKED TO,POINT OUT THAT IT IS VERY LIMITED SPACE, I JUST MANAGED, WITH MY HUSBANDS HELP TO GET IN ON MY SHOWER CHAIR, WHICH IS NARROW AND MADE TO USE IN THE SHOWER (OBVIOUSLY). I AM SORRY FOR THE NEGATIVITY BUT IT IS SO FRUSTRATING WHEN ACCOMMODATION IS NOT AS DESCRIBED AND NO I DO NOT USUALLY BOOK TWO ROOMS. I DO NOT EXPECT EVERYONE TO UNDERSTAND THE NEEDS OF EVERY DISABLED PERSON, BUT PLEASE DON'T THINK PUTTING A COUPLE OF GRAB RAILS UP AND A RAMP MAKE IT ADAPTED. I AM NOT A ONE PERSON CRUSADE, I JUST DON'T WANT THE NEXT DISABLED PERSON TO0 HAVE TO DEAL WITH UNSUITABLE, DOORWAYS,BATHROOMS ETC.
Just really lovely apartment close to the city centre.
Nothing.
Brilliant stay
Great location and good size of the apartment.
I guess they did some wall painting or something like that in the accomodation recently because the whole place smelled of paint and it was impossible to get it out.
