Could not wait to leave
Cons:

Mouldy shower that had no water and was obvious that had not worked for months. Bathroom tap not fixed to basin. Dirty kettle last PAT tested in 2022. Booked double bed family room with two singles but got double with one camp bed. No door knob on bathroom to stop bad smell from drains. Whole room needs major updating.

Under new management. Give them 6 months before risking the hotel.
Pros:

Bed was clean and good sized double. Clean towel. Desk fan in room.

Cons:

Too much to mention. Tired hotel under new ownership. Web site out of date. Staff dont answer requests, emails or contact forms. Staff disengaged. No empowerment to rectify errors. Hot water plumbed wrongly in bathroom. Higher floors low water pressure. Emergency Lighting flickering all day. Infrastructure worn but clean.

A nice large clean room with a comfortable bed
Pros:

The room was nice and large the location was right on the high street there was parking

Cons:

The cups in the room were dirty and cracked
It was a bit noisy but to be fair it did say it could be because of where it is in the high street so just be aware of that if you are staying for a few nights one night we could put up with it.

Very disappointing
Pros:

Location great. Staff were polite and helpful. Bed linen was clean and towels clean

Cons:

The room was scruffy and the bathroom scruffy with stained flooring. The window in the bedroom opened but could not be secured open. The room was very hot. We asked to change rooms but they only had a twin. No hot water in the shower in the morning

Good stay in a very convenient hotel that was full of character
Pros:

Room was comfortable but up a narrow staircase on the top floor. Bathroom was huge and there was a handheld shower. very soft towels.
Breakfast was not included but a very good breakfast was available at an exceptionally good price.
Parking was free but you did have to register the car.

Cons:

Steep stairs case could be an issue for some people or people was lots of luggage.

An affordable, solid hotel for a short weekend away
Pros:

The room had a fan and hair dryer provided, which was very helpful. The bed was very comfortable and free parking on site in a private car park was a great benefit.

Location was very convenient as well for going to Silverstone via Bicester park and ride service. Check in/out was very flexible and efficient

Cons:

The shower had very low pressure, meaning the water came out more like a dribble. It was useable but not brilliant

There was a lot of noise outside around 3am on the Friday morning, not ideal and appreciate little the hotel can do about that. However we had to shut the windows which was unfortunate given the heat last weekend. So if there was a way to keep rooms cooler that would help
