Pros:

We loved the charm of The Eltham and the staff really looked after us and made us feel very welcome. Food is delicious. Thank you! Can’t wait to visit again soon.

An excellent hinterland adventure stopover
Pros:

Old pub character reigns supreme at The Eltham. Old but clean and tidy. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The steak is a must !

Cons:

No major issues, but manage your expectations of the regional area … no TV, no internet connection. We loved the disconnect but if you can’t this is not for you

Very lucky to find this hotel 🩵🤍🪷
Pros:

Absolutely gorgeous. Deeply comfortable. Private. Quiet. Spacious. Downstairs ambiance. Incredibly cool and incredibly delicious food. Friendliness of all staff. Exquisite.

Cons:

That we don’t live there. 🥲 It’s too beautiful, in every way.

Friendly, comfortable, enjoyable.
Pros:

We were greeted at the bar by Luke, who was friendly and very welcoming. He took us to our room and showed us around the hotel. Our meal was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We relaxed and had a great time.

Pros:

Quaint little town, beautiful room, however we arrived too late to experience any staff or food as place was shut, we phoned to let them know we would be late and it was kindly arranged for key to be left out and good water left in room.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed
Pros:

Truly a marvellous and highly unique and memorable little Hotel. The word quaint and rustic are bandied about an awful lot, but Eltham hotel is the real deal in this regard. You get a traditional pub, in a truly lovely unspoilt colonial building, with a handful of spacious and individually tastefully decorated rooms. I thought the food was very good, loves the zucchini starters and the deserts were something special. The main of chicken parms were tasty and filling. Matthew, the owner was warm and chatty, and the staff were all very welcoming. It’s also very family friendly. Ultimately, one of the best places I’ve ever stayed (no exaggeration).
