L'emplacement est exceptionnel.
L'hôtel en lui même est peu confortable. Nous avons entendu le voisin ronfler comme s'il était dans notre chambre. L'hôtel était en chantier lorsque nous y étions.
The location is stunning, the studio is beautiful, comfortable, and full of character, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our visit.
One of the things we appreciated most was how much was included with the stay. Having access to a kayak and a small motor made exploring the lagoon and Bacalar even more special and added so much value to the experience.
This is truly a unique place in an incredible setting, and with just a little improvement to the sound insulation, it would be close to perfect. We would happily recommend it for its amazing location, wonderful facilities, and the hospitality of the staff.
Our room was ready about an hour later than expected, which was a little disappointing after a 3.5-hour drive. While this was unfortunate, it wasn’t something that would have affected my overall impression of the stay.
What really impacted our experience was the complete lack of sound insulation between the rooms. When I say there was none, I mean we could actually see the light from our neighbours’ ceiling lamps shining through the gaps in the wooden walls.
As you can imagine, this also meant that every sound carried through. Unfortunately, our neighbour started snoring loudly around 1:30 a.m., and because of the paper-thin walls, it sounded as if he was in the room with us. I ended up sleeping for only about 1.5 hours that night, and we decided to leave around 7:00 a.m. because we were simply exhausted.
Of course, the hotel cannot be held responsible for a guest snoring. However, the lack of even basic sound insulation is something that could and should be improved, as it had a significant impact on our stay.
De locatie is echt geweldig, direct aan het meer en goed bereikbaar met de auto. Die kun je in de straat parkeren. Fijn dat er gratis drankjes in de koelkast liggen.
Wij hadden de Junior suite en die was best heel erg donker en de badkamer ook. Wastafel was klein. Het ontbijt werd op de kamer verzorgd wat fijn was maar het was niet echt lekker.
La zona de la laguna es excelente, tranquila y con colores que denotan su eslogan de 7 colores. El hotel en general bien, áreas cómodas, acceso a la laguna muy bien para niños. El tener kayaks incluidos esta muy bien para explorar la laguna. La habitación que reservamos fue con cocineta, barra y refrigerador lo cual nos ayudó para preparar comidas o cenas sin tener que salir. El desayuno incluido bastante abundante aunque un poco repetitivo.
Extendimos nuestra estancia de último momento y tuvimos que pasarnos a a oyro tipo de habitación mas pequeña donde el aire acondicionado le costaba mucho trabajo enfriar y siempre se sentia humedad en la misma, no obstante la vista a la laguna era buena.

De airco werkte slecht. Na 3 keer! melding gedaan te hebben bij de receptie is er 1 keer iemand komen kijken om te zeggen dat de koelvloeistof op was. Er moest zogezegd altijd naar de manager gebeld worden maar men liet niets weten. Met beloftes telkens weggestuurd maar er kwam nooit communicatie. Er miste een stuk glas in het raam, hier hing enkel muggengaas voor dus de warme lucht van buiten kwam ook nog eens constant in de kamer. Ze omschrijven de kamers zogezegd als suites maar dat zijn ze zeker niet. Veel geld betaald voor zeer weinig service en luxe. Verschillende nachten in veel te warme kamer moeten slapen. Ontbijt was basic en viel voor ons ook tegen. Enkel de locatie en het gebruik van kayaks en scooters is goed en daarmee is alles gezegd.
Tiene una vista increíble, todo el personal muy amable, en especial un chico que trabaja ahí que se llama Jhonatan, nos dio recomendaciones de tours, nos recomendó un masaje super rico, nos apoyo a conseguir taxi para que nos llevarán al aeropuerto, super super amable con nosotras.
Las personas de la recepción tambien super amables.
Nos prestaron una moto con la cual nos estuvimos moviendo hacia el centro y otros puntos.
Recomendadisimo el hotel.
La atención de los dos chavos de recepción es muy buena, son super amables, te explican todo, resulven tus dudas y siempre atentos a atenderte, las cabañas y la habitación familiar donde nos quedamos están muy bonitas, tienen lo necesario, ni más ni menos, ahí mismo tomamos un tour en ponton, muy bonito, recomendable, todo muy bien sin duda volveremos
que el hotel no tiene restaurante propio, hay que pedir todo con un costo extra, pero aún ellos te lo resulven

Nous etions 4 avec 2 adolescentes et le 2nd couchage est moins confortable.
Good access to the lagoon
Everything apart from the lagoon access. We booked deluxe suite for 3 people. Had 16yr old with us. His bed was a thin mattress in the floor, bit like a sun lounger cover. We asked to move, they moved us the next night night to a room with a double ben and a single bed.
Beds were comfy, that’s about the only positive.
The room was really shabby as was the bathroom
The toilet seat was too small for the toilet.
The shower pressure was awful. Took forever to wash the shampoo out of my shoulder length hair.
The bathroom stank of rottin cabbage making the whole room smell.
Couldn’t swing a cat in there.
No fresh air as no outside space at all.
Breakfast wasn’t nice either. Stone cold scrambled eggs, some tortilla, and a ham and cheese roll. With carton orange.
To top it off breakfast is served in the room. There’s nowhere to eat it or place the tray even except for the bed!
No facilities.. it’s just a few rooms on a bit of land with a few sunloungers. Not even any outside tables and chairs to sit at.

Staff dont communicate well between reception and tour. We don't recommend boat trip with the hotel because captain was rude, always in a rush : we had a bad time with him (Gustavo) on the Lake
Room are wasted and need upgrade, room 12 has no privacy from room next door (we hear all they say). Upstairs also is very noisy
The room has no furniture to store clothes, no table and no chair so you have to have breakfast on your laps or on coffee table !!

Kayak and paddle are nice but wasted. Paddle keeps filling up with water being rather dangerous. I had to walk back pulling the board. Staff said they know it is bad quality but manager never approves budget for upgrade
