Great, no-frills hotel in a good location
Pros:

Great, no-frills hotel in a good location near Shin-Okubo JR station. Walking distance from the main Shinjuku station (10-15 mins). Many restaurants, convenience stores, and a large Don Quijote nearby.
The 4-person family room was pretty compact, but it worked well. The small kitchen corner contained a small fridge, sink and a microwave over and some dishes. The bathroom worked well, including the washer-dryer. Good shower.
Very friendly and assertive service, including luggage storage until 19:00 when the staff leaves.

Nice but ...
Pros:

Location, staff, extra services

Cons:

Rack beds, if I am not mistaking, when I made the reservation, it never was mentioned my reserved room with two beds could be rack beds. It was Not comfortable and conveniant at all. I felt like the hotel lied to me.
