Good location, friendly knowledgeable and helpful management.
Pros:

Rooms were generous, clean and quiet. Management were very helpful and accommodating. Overall facilities were well maintained.

Excellent place to stay in Myoko
Pros:

Seifuso was a great place to stay in Myoko. Nice and close to resturants and bars in town and close enough for an easy walk to the lifts. Tim and Mel were great hosts/managers. Very welcoming and helpful. Their knowledge of the local ski fields is an added bonus.

Perfect spot to stay, run by amazing people!
Pros:

Excellent location. Very close to food and chair lifts. Continental breakfast was amazing. Staff very welcoming and helpful.

Memorable for all the right reasons.
Pros:

Magnificent views from our rooms. We had a large bedroom and lounge room. Location was excellent, being on a quiet side street but very close to shops, restaurants and lifts. The staff were exceptionally accommodating. Breakfasts were first class.

Cons:

Would have liked the room to be serviced during our 10 night stay.

Happy powder days at Seifuso
Pros:

1. The friendliest staff I’ve met - greetings with big smiles at all hours of the day, and with a cold beer waiting for you to end a long ski-day. Even lent me a pair of their personal ski-goggles when mine failed.
2. Super chill room, comfy bed and couch where you can stare at the snow falling outside big windows all day or head up to the ski slopes.
3. Location: Technically its a ski-in property - possible to ski from the top of the Akakura Kanko resort and all the way to the front door, if you know where to go.. And to get up to the slopes its a 5min walk to get to the ticket booth.
4. Unparalleled knowledge of the resorts across the Myoko mountain, as all of the staff are on the mountain when they’re not working.
5. Amazing breakfast - all the things you need in a continental breakfast, but with slight variety every day making you look forward to it.

Cons:

Whats there not to like? Just go book it now.

Pros:

The staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The ambiance is nice and the room was lovely. The location to everything was convenient. We were happy that they provided a shuttle to the train station for a small fee. The breakfast was always good with plenty of options. The staff even provided me with decaffeinated tea when I asked for some. Overall it was a great place to stay and I would stay there again.

Cons:

The bed was a little hard and it would be nice to have extra pillows on the bed. The price was high for having to share toilets and showers. I didn't like some of the other guests walking to the showers in towels or their underwear. They provide really nice Japanese style robes to wear in the room so it was a shame that other people didn't use them.

Clean friendly and nice location.
Pros:

Location is good short walk to Main Street of restaurants. Tim and his staff were great. Very helpful and go beyond to assist with things outside the scope of the hotel.

Cons:

Bathroom to each room would be better than a shared bathroom down the hall. Not totally child friendly but we coped quite well with what was available to utilise.

Pros:

Comfortable, convenient, and welcoming! My two kids and I had a wonderful stay at Seifuso. The hotel is close to the slopes, has wonderful rooms, and the staff are delightful. Can’t wait to go back!

Lovely charming ski lodge!
Pros:

It was very comfortable, the room had everything we need and was renovated tastefully. All in all a lovely experience and we would like to thank Tim especially for being such a great and friendly hosts.

Beautiful guesthouse run by lovely staff
Pros:

This is a beautiful property with very modern facilities whilst maintaining a traditional Japanese vibe with tatami, futons, furniture etc.
We were so comfortable here, slept well every night and had easy access to the slopes, the town and an onsen just round the corner.
The highlight, however, was the staff who were all incredible. Such kind and friendly people who went above and beyond to help us and were always so welcoming. The breakfast they made each morning was also delicious. It was so good that we hope to be back again next year!
