The easiest way to describe the stay is that it was terrible. Once u enter the lobby of this hotel the first thing that you will notice is the choking humidity smell. The place smells rotten. It gives you the impression that it was never exposed to the sun. The room has an even worse smell. Funny thing is that the receptionist, who wasn't friendly at all, advised us to open the windows for fresh air. The room which was in the ground floor has beautiful view of some water containers and a tiny smelly street (picture attached). As I couldn't take that room, the receptionist kindly changed my room to another one in the first floor which was no better. A dirty room with humidity smell. I just dumped at 8pm that booking and found myself another place to spend the night. To make the story more interesting, i was requested to pay a 50rm deposit upon check-in. To get it back i had to wait for a broken selfl-check-in/ check-out machine to give me back my deposit. Even taking back my deposit while loosing the money I spent on the room was a nightmare. I mean why on earth will u hire unhelpful receptionist and install a broken self check-in machine. Isn't one of them enough headache. My simple advice, do not stay their. There are plenty of cleaner and more pleasant homestays in the area.
