Kyoto Wakouan Retro Stay

Le personnel est très gentil et serviable ! On m’a fait visiter la maison et le jardin en arrivant en m’expliquant l’histoire de la maison et du jardin.
Il est aussi possible de faire une cérémonie du thé dans la maison.
Il y a deux chats !!! J’étais très contente de pouvoir voir des chats tous les jours !!
La chambre était parfaite pour moi, j’ai aussi très bien dormi :)

Escogimos este alojamiento para alejarnos de las zonas muy turísticas. Era un barrio residencial muy agradable, silencioso, bien ubicado y con paradas de bus cerca, que te conectaban a todo Kyoto. Habían ricos restaurantes cerca, supermercados, 7 Eleven, templos, etc. La pieza era amplia y cómoda. Las camas eran firmes, lo que nos gustó mucho. Dormimos muy bien. Teníamos un espacio de cocina para nosotros. En la casa habían dos gatitos muy amigables. Las dos mujeres que nos recibieron fueron siempre muy amables y atentas a todas nuestras solicitudes y preguntas. ¡Fue una pena no disponer de más tiempo para disfrutar los espacios comunes de la casa, o de las prácticas culturales que se desarrollaban ahí mismo!

招待的姊姊超級熱情、跟我介紹她的日式花園、住宿詳細說明。

いつも利用させていただいています。
今回も快適に過ごせました。
毎回あちこち歩き回って足が痛くなるのですが宿に帰ってゆっくり休むと次の日は元気を取り戻します。
2匹いるにゃんこもフレンドリーで癒される存在です。

Junko-san is a really kind and nice person.
When I first arrived she has offered me tea right away whilst I was filling out the check in form. Even with language barrier she was really patient with me and even explained story behind her garden and meaning of the chants I could hear early morning.
Definitely a pleasant stay and if by any chance I make it to Japan and Kyoto again, I am gonna stay here again.

Ps.: Cats are lovely but be aware they take prisoners by sitting at the persons lap not letting them out for sightseeing.

Fantastic location, host and room. Easy check in and out and good communication from the host.

The location was terrific and Junko was a very kind and informative host. I loved the cat too :)

owner was lovely and welcoming. great residential location with lots of transport links, restaurants and supermarkets. decent sized room and storage, and not many people sharing the bathroom.
