Die Anlage war insgesamt sauber und gepflegt. Die Betten waren bequem und mit neuwertiger Bettwäsche ausgestattet. Allerdings waren die Kissen sehr dick und hart, was den Schlafkomfort wieder etwas eingeschränkt hat.
Der Rooftop-Pool eignet sich optisch gut für Fotos – das war jedoch auch schon der größte Pluspunkt dieses Bereichs.
Das Frühstücksangebot war sehr überschaubar und entsprach nicht dem Standard eines 4-Sterne Hotels. Die Auswahl war insgesamt gering, Käse wurde beispielsweise nicht angeboten. Zudem war pro Person lediglich ein Cappuccino oder heißer Kakao vorgesehen. Das Buffet war insgesamt sehr klein gehalten.
Die Aufzugssituation war problematisch. Es kam häufig zu längeren Wartezeiten, und die kleinen waren oft bereits voll, sodass man sich teilweise noch hineinquetschen musste.
Eines unserer beiden Zimmer wies einen unangenehmen Geruch auf, vermutlich bedingt durch die vorhandene Kochmöglichkeit. Hier sehen wir langfristig ein mögliches Problem, da sich Gerüche mit zunehmendem Alter des Hotels eher verstärken könnten.
Der Rooftop-Pool ist optisch ansprechend, jedoch in der praktischen Nutzung stark eingeschränkt. Es stehen lediglich sieben Sonnenliegen zur Verfügung, die ganztägig der Sonne ausgesetzt sind und keinerlei Schatten bieten. Zudem ist der hoch gelegene Infinity-Pool ohne erkennbare Schutzvorrichtungen für Kinder nicht optimal geeignet.
Auch das unmittelbare Umfeld des Hotels bietet – abgesehen von landestypischem Streetfood – kaum weitere Infrastruktur oder attraktive Möglichkeiten.

Zusammenfassende Bewertung
Um Missverständnisse zu vermeiden: Dieses Hotel steht in keinerlei Zusammenhang mit dem bekannten 5-Sterne-Luxushotel The Peninsula.
Zum Zeitpunkt unserer Buchung hatte das Hotel eine Bewertung von 9,1 Punkten, was für uns im Nachhinein nicht nachvollziehbar ist. Unsere Erfahrung hat gezeigt, dass man sich nicht ausschließlich auf Punktebewertungen auf Buchungsportalen verlassen sollte.
Wir haben bereits viele Länder bereist und waren in Kambodscha unter anderem in Sihanoukville, Koh Rong Sanloem, Siem Reap und Phnom Penh. Die Tempelanlagen sind zweifellos beeindruckend. Darüber hinaus haben wir jedoch viele infrastrukturelle Defizite wahrgenommen, beispielsweise die sehr begrenzte Verkehrsinfrastruktur (u.a.

The service at dinner was not great, my husband had to go to bar to get another drink twice during dinner on the roof top. ( roof top dinner was good)
Breakfast I ask for large cafe latta, I only received a small, I asked for another twice after 20 minutes, I complained, she forgot, it still took another 10 minute and still only small. I think i dislike the young girl painting her nails while I was having my breakfast, surly she could have done that after or before work. Not a good look for the hotel which is a lovely hotel. Maybe staff training needed here.

Excellent hôtel, le rooftop est superbe avec sa piscine à débordement sur la ville. Il y a un bar où on peut prendre un verre et un restaurant.
