In the town centre but overpriced.
Pros:

The property is in the middle of the shops and cafes and just meters from the main markets and the seafront. The reception and the bar area is nice with only in house guests welcomed at the bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful in organising airport pickup and drop off.

Cons:

The property is overpriced for what it offers. The room is spacious but with a small air con which hardly made a difference. The breakfast is included in the price but was basic at best.

お世話になりました。ありがとう。
Pros:

ロケーションが仕事に最適で、スタッフが親切だった。部屋も古いが清潔で、メンテナンスも良かった。朝食はコンチネンタルスタイルで、自分の日常と異なってはいたが大きな不満は無かった。

Cons:

致し方ないことだが隣の建物が近く、常にカーテンを閉めておく必要があった。

Well in short it was comfortable stay
Pros:

The room is spacious and clean, and the AC is functioning well. The staff members are very friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

I was supposed to pay 250 US$, but they converted it into the local currency with their exchange rate, so I ended up paying 284 US$. Need to upgrade the bathroom fittings and fixtures

Pros:

The hotel is located on one of the busiest streets in Nukuʻalofa, right next to a chapel whose bells ring every morning at 5:30 and again at 6:00. Soon after, the choir begins to sing actually, I found it to be a lovely morning alarm.

The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked well, the sink drain was a bit clogged. Breakfast was the same every day: cereals, fresh fruit (papaya, banana, and melon), toastes, marmite, jam, and peanut butter, and a hard-boiled egg. It would have been nice to see some variety maybe an omelet, scrambled, or sunny side up eggs once in a while. Since we’re in Polynesia, adding coconut or even coconut sprouts would make a great local touch.

Overall, it’s a small, charming, simple hotel, and a nice place to stay.

And you can do some karaoke at the evenings

It hits all the basics so why pay a fortune for the thrills.
Pros:

It hit all the basics: the room was clean, it had a good shower, the air con worked relatively quietly, the free internet was good and the bed was comfortable with spotless sheets.
The location is in the downtown area, so easy walk to cafes. There is no parking but getting street parking close by was no issue.
Breakfast is very basic fruit and cereal - but I did not book for breakfast it was just part of the rate so was happy and wandered to a nearby cafe for a great cooked breakfast.

Cons:

Downside is only aesthetics. It is a bit tired but then it was $200 a night - way less than other hotels and it provided everything I wanted.

Pros:

Situation centrale l. Petit déj, très bien fruits, céréales, toast.. L'hôtel était un ancien cinéma !! Personnel sympa

Cons:

Pas de prise de tête mais effectivement il faut savoir que le prix est donné en US$ et la conversion en Top n'est pas du tout avantageuse. A part cela, nous avons bien aimé cet endroit. L'insonorisation pourrait être être améliorée.

They are CHEATERS. We have one price on booking in USD and they want to pay only in theirs currency in currency rate of hotel 😂 What is more around 50$. I told them why I should pay much more? They were so rude and they suggested to call booking.com. Women from booking also told them I can pay in USD. They were furious! They wanted to earn more money on currency rate. After women from booking.com confirmed my argument they started screaming at me “GET OUT” and “We will call police” I decided to pay what they want and how they want to not make problems. But guys AVOID this hotel. Every single person in Tonga is amazing except them. You have choice. Btw breakfast was terrible!
