Precioso 🥰
Pros:

Un lugar precioso entre una naturaleza impresionante. El personal muy amable y atento. Todo perfecto!

Simple and very rustic place
Pros:

The staff were kind and helpful, the room was large, the hamburger and fries fabulous, as were the líquidos. Very cool to have howler monkeys on the site.

Cons:

The hotel was a long way from centre. The windows didn't close so we couldn't close out the horrible burning smell that was coming, I believe from all over town. Hard to breathe. Don't order the quesadillas, just tortillas and melted cheese.

Great place to stay on a less travelled road.
Pros:

Small beach at the lake, directly accessible from the terrace. You can swim in the lake. Howler monkeys in the trees. Very friendly staff who allowed changes to the menu for vegans. Roomy cabins, good beds, okay shower. Lovely dining area with rustic furniture.
In El Estor there is a super market, and also an outdoor market where they sell local textile. Not many tourists there, very unspoiled and original. The Carretera 7E (coming from the East) is paved until El Estor and changes then into 44 km unpaved road, which made us drive back the way we came.

Cons:

The roosters in the morning.
